Caught a wild exeggcute today so just 1 more to go! Then picked up not 1 but 2 hatch an egg field tasks. I thought great, 1 of those HAS to be exeggcute but NO! 2 more blinking lanturns!

Checking in after a gap because I’m curious about trainer battles and I’m ultra friends with a couple of random MNers whose names I now can’t remember. I’ll practice battles with DD to get the hang of it. Also due to go best friends with somebody soon which I guess makes it worthwhile to coordinate eggs but I’m not sure how.

I’m frankly altogether disappointingly crap for level 37-and-a-half. Still waiting on a few eggsecutes for the research task which is driving me up the wall. Which field research gives them to you?

MonaChopsis I know it sounds silly, but are you tapping in the right place? Because the attack is faded at first, growing brighter until it’s charged enough for you to use it, so if you’re not tapping the right spot it won’t charge.

Wailmer I'm perfectly happy to accept I'm probably doing it wrong! Where on the screen are you supposed to tap, I've tried pretty much every location!

MonaChopsis I can’t battle right now to screenshot or find a good picture, but it’s nearish the bottom of the screen in the centre, and as your charge attack charges the faded button gains colour.

Next time I battle I’ll screenshot it
