I've dumped Blissey and buddied up with Eevee ready for my next quest

I did break and put some real money in for a box so have a load of super incubators and walked 9 eggs this morning. I had been saving gym coins but in the holidays it's slow going as the usual gym rythms break down and it gets harder to get into and stay in the gyms. It's quite a quiet localised area with a regular core normally. I've been further affield in other parks and town though.

DS and I have popped into town to buy muesli. Aka spin as many Pokestops as we can in 20 mins. He's in charge of sending the gifts so if you get missed PM me and I'll have him beaten.

I'm finally back from Pokemon wilderness - have barely seen a stop for the last 2 weeks, closest was about 10 miles away, and the only way I could get something to catch was by using incense!

I would like to apologize again for not sending gifts, I have 68 friends!

My strategy now is to get to second level with everyone, then third level with 20, then the next 20, then so on so I will get round to everyone!

My approach is a bit scattershot. Apologies for those who added and gifted to me recently - I also have ~50 friends so struggle to get round to everybody. I'm going to start from the bottom of my friendship level filter and work up so that recent adds get a gift! Just need to pick some more up on the way home from station.

I change the nickname to the date that a friend sends me a gift e.g. 08.23 for today then I can sort by nickname and make sure everyone gets a gift back eventually!
I change the nickname to g when I've gifted and so on.....
I do like a good system

Also apologies if my fay fingers always hitting the trading button sends any sort of alert. I'm not really trying to trade from miles away.

Courtesy of a mega traffic jam on the way home, I’ve hatched all my remaining Alolan eggs. Got 2 Geodudes and a Grimer so cant really complain. I have 8 egg spaces so I won’t be opening any gifts for now!

I consider myself a casual player but given I’m level 35 and currently hoarding 2 million stardust, not sure that’s true. I don’t actively seek out raids and haven’t done anything more than a T3.

tangela that's a really good idea. I've had another couple of dry gift spells and always feel guilty as I can never remember who I sent to the day before.

Apologies for not accepting a few friends either, I didn't want too with no gifts to send out to the people I already had. But I will next time I go on as I now have a strategy

6 eggs hatched in one day, not bad! Although nothing good in them! On my way to completing 3/8, just three eggs to go. How's everyone else doing? I got the "throw four Curved great balls in a row" task today, but I had to ditch it as I can throw great curved balls but no way four in a row without some silly bugger of a pokemon messing it up!

Just got to evolve Espeon and I'll have done 4/8

I've got to catch a pokemon tomorrow then onto the next stage. Pineappled lots of Hoppip today to evolve an evolved grass type.

Caught a few wild Lavitar today too

Gosh, some of you have a lot of friends. No wonder I send gifts but don't always get one back. I have 17 friends and thought that was plenty! I open a gift then send one back. Also if anyone is trying to coincide being ultra/best friends etc. With each other you don't need to open your gifts at the same time. You just need to put your lucky egg on before you open the gift (when the right number of days has elapsed).
