Yes, it is a glitch. I've been playing the game since the day it came out. I know the rates of the eggs. If I get nothing but 2k eggs solidly for two weeks plus when I'm hatching them daily then it's a glitch. If it wasn't, what difference would stopping spinning stops make?

We all got nothing but 2k eggs through the water event, mind, unless it was a larvitar egg on community day.

OutingMyDog If it was a glitch, it would be a known glitch and there would be hundreds or thousands of players with the same. Yet I’ve tried looking for any evidence of this glitch online and nothing. It’s not even among the known issues on Niantic’s website.

It’s simply coincidence that sometimes all you get is 2km and other times it’s a mix. You are more likely to get a full egg display of 2km because they are the most common egg drops.

I'm surprised about that because I've seen discussion about it before, the last time it happened to me. It's Sunday evening though and I can't be bothered to look it up. It's pretty inconsequential anyway!

I have had my first alolan hatch from one of your eggs! It was a meowth who is now a persian. And we caught a wild alolan ratata today, who is now a raticate. Or madam fatso as dd calls it.

Does anyone know how many gifts you can hold at once? I've seen someone say 5. Does that mean that I have to give them away pretty quickly so that I can hold more?

I think it's 5 gifts in your bag at any one time. Can give away 20 per day and open 20 per day.

I promise I'll give everyone a gift soon. I don't play much at weekends and am receiving way more than I'm able to give out.

With the egg thing. There is a theory that I'm pokemon go the game gives you more of something you have already. So if you have heaps of balls and low on pineapples the stops will give you more balls. A lot of players leave 10k eggs unhatched as if there's on in your bag you are more likely to get more.
Probably urban myth before anyone asks I have no proof only anecdotal. Plus it's fun to hatch them all at once and put a star piece on

I have no idea who I've gifted and who I haven't. I tend to send one back when I get one. I'll make sure I fling them out when I have 5 now.

iheartmichellemalon I didn't get my coins from gyms yesterday too. Was in 2 gyms, both knocked out during Saturday but no coins received. I've checked back in my journal and no mention of them being returned even though I've had to revive them. Too busy to do any gyms today so didn't get a chance to check today.

I'm not surprised you did better not using the recommended Pokemon.

The recommendations are always HEAVILY skewed in favour of défense. So it will pick types with immunity to the raid boss type over the strong attacking types you should be going for, plus high défense stats. Generally they'll be tanky things but won't actually get the job done as they won't administer enough damage.

I highly recommend using pokebattler.com it takes a little time to tell it about your strongest Pokemon but once you've done that it will recommend your strongest team from your actual Pokemon taking into account not just Pokemon types and base stats, but also the move sets, level and IVs of your actual Pokemon.

Also, I've accepted lots of friend requests which I assume are from on here. Thanks lovelies. I will get to gift giving asap but sadly have only spun about 3 stops today and only picked up 1 gift so haven't been able to gift away. Sorry!
