I find it highly unlikely that it was the exact same IV both before and after trade.

Even if you’re ultra friends, there’s still an IV change whether that be up or down.

She doesn't know what it was before the trade, as the guy she got it from didn't IV it. Could have been higher I suppose?

Oh okay, so when I said is it still 93% I was asking was it 93% before the trade because that would be extremely unlikely

IVs can go up and down so it could have been higher or lower, though the better friends you are the smaller the IV change is either way.

If someone hadn’t IV’d a Pokemon before trading it with me I would insist they did so I knew the change, although I don’t actually know anyone who doesn’t IV important Pokémon.

Just got this off DH! Can’t IV check as PokeGenie doesn’t appear to recognise it but it was 40% before trade and is now a wonder so the IV floor is definitely working

Anyone else get The Fear™️ when they run out of gifts in case they seem like the freeloading PoGo friend? Making sure that I'm reciprocating gifts has become more stressful than managing my IRL social circle.

I know what you mean but I send out more than 20 every day so I know I'm giving more than I receive. I do worry though that people will think I am rude when i am slow in opening their gifts.

Does anyone know why some Pokémon seem to already have a berry on them when you click on them?

It's a glitch! If you give them a berry the icon will vanish but you will still get 6 candy if you catch them.

That seems to be a visual bug from the latest update, displaying the Berry used in your last throw. The Berry isn't active, though, so no need to worry about golden razzing a pidgey!

ContraryToPopularBelief It’s a glitch; it doesn’t mean anything. You’ll notice the berry is the same berry you used on the last Pokémon you caught.

So if you caught your last Pokémon with a pinap berry, the next Pokémon will have a pinap berry graphic above it. However, it will not give you double candy, you would have to add an actual pinap berry as it’s just a graphical glitch.

Woohoo, finally a legendary back as the research task rewards! Snorlax was very disappointing.

I was happy to have one Snorlax as it had evaded me. Glad to get a legendary I don’t have.

TakeAChanseyOnMe No, that news info is specifically about field research rewards giving Raikou as a reward and doesn’t give any indications towards the next special research.

We do know the next special research will be Celebi and we do know it’s in the code ready to go live (after having been released exclusively at Go Fest and then tweaked afterwards), but there is no hint as to exactly when it will be released.

Argh I feel under pressure to get my excellent curve ball throw before the celebi becomes the new special research Pokemon! Any tips? I do curve balls every time and often get nice or great,just no excellent!

MrsJamin You don’t need to feel under pressure. Go Fest proved you can have both Mew and Celebi special research quests active at the same time.

It’s not like the field research quests, Celebi isn’t going to replace Mew.

Meetme I'm the same. Where I work massively varies so sometimes I don't get to many stops. Keep having a work with myself that other people hopefully aren't stressing about something they get free from pokestops.
Wish the game did a number sent and received for each person though

MeetMe and TangelaVine I’m the same. We went on holiday and there were no pokestops in the vicinity. I felt really guilty that people were sending me gifts and I wasn’t sending anything back. I’m deliberately trying to send gifts everywhere now!
