Because friendship and trading has just been launched and t'other thread is almost full!

Don't get stressed about sending gifts! It'll all come out in the wash! I think once you get to best friends with some, then you can start working down the list of friends you have, so it might take longer but we'll all get there in the end, iyswim.
Last night we went to a restaurant & there was a pokestop right outside. Unfortunately, due to its location, they had put some fairly serious insulation (think sound insulation from traffic noise) around it and I couldn't get reception! I thought it was going to be a great chance to sit and farm gifts while having a lovely meal!Oh well, at least the food was delicious!

I know it's wrong of me, but I'm quite excited that the hotel we're going back to next week is right on top of a gym. I can see them showing us to a room and me surreptitiously checking my phone to make sure I can reach the gym from the room! Also, got to silver on the 2 gyms there last year, so going to have to work on gold.
DH: "What are you going to do whilst I'm off cycling?"
Me: "Oh, I'm sure I'll find something to keep me occupied. Off you pop!"

I'm trying to be chilled about gifts. Some days I manage to get enough gifts to ensure everyone gets one. Other days I'm lucky to get 3 gifts to send out. You can't really do much if they aren't dropping.

Can I just apologise for being a crap gift giver at the minute? I’ve been practically housebound with poorly children since Sunday and haven’t been near enough to spin a pokestop since then. I’m barely managing to catch one Pokemon a day to keep my streak going, it’s only when one randomly spawns near my house that I can get one!

I’m hopefully going to the wildlife park this weekend though if everyone stops throwing up so hopefully will get some gifts to send as I know there are some stops there.

I also got an EX Raid pass for 4 August- unfortunately it is for a gym in the town in Europe where we were on holiday.

I don't think I can justify a day trip back there.

DH and DD off to London today, stuck home with toddler DS waiting for plumber who is already 45 mins late.
Had terrible connection problems yesterday evening so got naff all from pokestops.

YAY!!! I finally got my excellent curveball after hundreds of tries! Mew here I come tomorrow. Even my children have lost interest in pokemon so I have no-one else to share my joy with :)

I’d never even tried using curve balls before the special research but now it’s my default. That extra 10XP must add up eventually!

After someone on the last thread described how you do a curve ball from the left bottom corner, its my default. It really increases the likelihood of a catch so you get more XP and waste fewer balls.

SneakyGremlins How old were the Pokémon you were trading? Pokemon from 2016 have the highest chance of being lucky, then 2017, while Pokemon from 2018 have the least chance of becoming lucky during trade.
