Because friendship and trading has just been launched and t'other thread is almost full!

I’m not solo by choice - I don’t know anyone local who plays and with a small baby at home I can’t really go out to raids at all hours specially. She doesn’t even like standing around while I battle in the non-raid gym. At work they rarely happen in my half hour lunch break at the one gym nearby and when they do, if I am out that day, I don’t know any other players and there never seems to be a group there.

I work in my town and don't really want to hang out there. My group is in another town but I love discovering new towns. We tend to plan a trip to London then just rock up to a big group when we see one.

I am so annoyed about egg spaces at the mo, daren't open anything until I have a space. They could do with a holding area for present eggs, or allow you to delete eggs.

I am so glad they are rolling out other ways to catch the legendary birds. Some rural players, disabled players, players with young kids or just unsociable beans need a second way.

There seems to be a glitch where you get stuck on 2k eggs. A couple of times I've had to stop spinning stops until I get rid of them all then when it's empty I get a normal mix.

I have a job that kind of makes me a bit of a public figure (not in a celebrity way!) and that puts me off the social side. The other day I left work and was about to join a raid but saw that a few characters I knew through work were about to too and kept walking.

My current bugbear (other than having to rein in my tendency to spin every stop I can in case I get a normal egg when I accidentally have an egg space open!) is the new 5 limit on holding gifts. I would also like to be able to chuck eggs gifts, so I can just keep the ones from the coolest pokestops to send out. #shallow

Right now, for example, had I been able to stash loads of eggs, I could be sending out gifts. As it is, I shall have to drag myself out of bed and go for a walk about twenty times around the block.... or persuade the kids they reeeeeally want a bus ride to the end of a route and back. 😬

I have a group of players I know - none by name - who occasionally loiter by the town hall near my friend's shop so I always go out and say hi and raid with them. But I'm not on Facebook so I'm hoping to see them again so I can add them as friends!

I ALSO want the ability to order my friends list, so I can keep track of what I've sent to whom, and send eggs to MN and overseas people first. Local group friends can wait/do trades instead of getting 🎁!

Nice! I love seeing where gifts are from. Dh has a mate who plays and goes to NY sometimes, so I'm living in hope!

OrianaBanana Your current lot of 2km eggs will be because of the water event; the majority of egg drops were specifically 2km eggs as they had the ability to contain rarer Pokémon usually found in 10km eggs. The Shellder’s were welcomed by me too as increased chance of a shiny, though unfortunately not for me.

OutingMyDog There isn’t an egg glitch - not all eggs have the same equal chance of dropping from PokeStops. 2km eggs are the most common drops, with 5km drops being uncommon and 10km drops being rare; hence having lots of 2km.

Thanks to this page I now have 35 friends. I don't have this many friends in real life! Don't think I even know 35 people (I'm sure I do). Is there a limit to how many gifts we can have at any one time? I was disappointed how few I received from stops today- we went on a long 3h walk and I only received 7 gifts, all of which have now been sent to you lot. I also have almost hatched an alolan eggs, once it cools down we will go and walj the remaining 600m to hatch it.

Is there something going on with gyms ATM? I was in a gym today for a few hours & didn't get any coins and I hadn't had any coins at all so far, so i wasn't at the max or anything!

iheartmichellemallon Gyms run from midnight to midnight, so if you’re knocked out at 12.01am and don’t notice or realise, you’ve had your coins for the day (if above 50) and won’t get any until after midnight the next day.

Just caught my first Absol, managed it with just me and dd, well chuffed.

I've failed miserably before but switched from the recommended and won with 46 seconds to spare.
