Oooh stardust is now in gifts. Also just realised that tomorrow when I open the gift from a lovely mn-er on holiday we'll have 3 hearts and 100k XP

Got into raiding recently, failed at a registeel this morning then success this afternoon but didn’t catch him , bagged a charmander (not many about round here) then missed alolan raichu as I was eating dinner. Got the bug now!

Does anyone else hold onto crap IV/CP 3rd tier mons?

throwawayagain I only keep 90%+ IV Pokemon with two exceptions: my starter Pokemon and all shiny Pokemon.

With Gen IV on the horizon I’ve attached an infographic on the important Pokémon from it

It is a smaller generation, only 100 Pokemon, but it has a lot of very important Pokemon. It’s a really, really good generation so worth checking this out.

@TangelasVine if you can really optimise your activity on Moltres day and smash the lucky eggs you can help yourself out quite a lot.

I've been a bit bored with the game lately but I'm feeling reinvigorated as I've just fully completed my Gen 1 Pokédex (including all genders and regionals) and have also completed my Gen 2 & 3 dex apart from not yet released mons.

I can never usually make the special days as they are usually at weekends and I don't do much raiding. So it'll probably take me another 2 years to reach 40
I don't mind though I'm more of a collector. But I do get excited when I level up

@TangelasVine - I’m similar. I enjoy the community days for the chance to catch lots of Pokemon and shinies but I don’t go out of my way for raids. I’m in a city so it’s easier. I’m level 34 just now.

I’m also getting a bit bored as I have almost all non legendary/regional Pokemon so I’m looking forward to the next gen.

I really quite like this period where I’ve completed all gens so far as its giving me a chance to focus on other goals, my major one being getting gold on all gyms in my town. I have 9 so I’m half way there!

I only need Alolan Raichu and Alolan Marowak. I've watched quite a few level 4s hatch but they are almost always Donphan
Does anyone know if Alolan Raichu is able to be done solo? I have done Machamp on my own.

Yoghurts- I found people to raid with on Facebook but I know that a lot of areas use Discord instead. If there are PoGo groups for your area, they'd be able to advise.

Community Days are also good for meeting people. If your area is quiet, it's worth going to a busier place to meet people there. We always trigger EX Raids on Community Day because of the large number of people doing raids

rainingcatsanddog Alolan Raichu is easily soloable if you use the right Pokémon with the right movesets. As an electric and psychic Pokémon, it is weak to Dark, Ground, Ghost and Bug.

So you want:
• Gengar with Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball
• Mewtwo with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball
• Tyrannitar with Bite and Crunch
• Groudon with Mud Shot and Earthquake
• Houndoom with Snarl and Foul Play
• Absol with Snarl and Dark Pulse
• Banette with Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball
• Scizor with Fury Cutter and X-Scissor
• Pinsir with Fury Cutter or Bug Bite and X-Scissor
• Sharpedo with Bite and Crunch
• Alakazam with Psycho Cut and Shadow Ball

• Moves in italics are legacy moves, so if your Pokemon doesn’t have that move, it cannot get that move anymore

The best counters are obviously the ones at the top of the list, but I included the bottom ones too for those who may not have those Pokémon.

Also don’t forget the weather plays a part too and will affect your Pokemon and alter the effectiveness of their movesets.

I was in a different part of town today (driving) with teen DS spinning pokestops for me. Have just sent our a pile of presents to friends, mostly from on here.
