Anybody remember this? No? Just me then. I managed to raid and catch Latios yesterday.

I'd never go that far out of my way to get pokemon especially pay to go somewhere special! It is JUST a game!

MrsJamin Yeah... it’s a game you can play casually or hardcore, and if you play hardcore you’re more likely to be better at the game and have a full Dex and better Pokémon.

It depends on how much you enjoy the game and your priorities.

I don’t think attempting to belittle the game because people don’t play it as casually as you do is very nice at all.

I’ve regularly gone out of my way and paid to go to various cities to take advantage, say when the Kangaskhan event was on, or the day I went to a nearby city and got 600,000 XP in a few hours when the new PokeStop XP event was on.

It’s my money and my time, and that’s how I want to spend it. I don’t really appreciate the insinuation that it’s a waste.

The game is there to be played however you want - whether that’s every so often or every minute of every day. Either is fine.

In happier news, I finally, after many, many raids, got my shiny Kyogre! Very poor IVs at only 76%, but I don’t care because it’s shiny

And the last day too!

I am going to Dortmund in Germany next week for the special event. Some of our local group have booked flights and hotels specially for the event. With me as my husband works and half lives in Holland I had a flight booked anyway and am just driving for 90 mins to get to Dortmund, spending the day there and then driving back to our house in Holland. I also used to live in Dortmund so know it well.

So I would say if you can afford it and want to do it and it’s your first mewtwo then go for it!

Despite raiding nearly everyday during Lugia, Ho-Oh and Kyogre’s shiny phases, this is the first shiny legendary I’ve got. So very chuffed!

Also really jealous of you going to Dortmund. If we could afford it and the time off work we’d be there in a heartbeat!

Agreed. I play every second I get - before work, on my break at work, after work, most of the day every day off. Doesn’t matter what I’m doing - Pokemon is open if I’m not at work.

I also spend hours at home sorting all my Pokémon out.

So it’s not “just a game”. If it wasn’t for Pokemon, I wouldn’t do any exercise at all, so it’s great for keeping me active too.

The Regis, while they’ll need a fair few people to take down due to their bulky defense, are actually pretty poor in terms of battling. Their attack stats are awful.

All three are them are out-performed by other Pokemon. So they’ll be good for the Dex, but that’s it.

I have a little less to do, in the morning, so of I see a silver egg, I'll be out there looking for the local school run crowd. I haven't managed to raid at all, this week, with ds2 being off school.

So Regice is the first Regi coming tomorrow!

It does say 4 - 7 for a raiding party, but the lower levels you are the more people you will need. Four Level 35+ accounts would probably be fine, while four Level 25 accounts would not be.

I noticed a poster mention about swapping trainer codes on this thread in order to become friends and receive gifts.

A word of caution about this! These gifts contain a postcard from the PokeStop you got it from, so you will be sharing your location.

If you do not wish to share your location with people you have not met, please do not give out your trainer code and subsequently send any gifts!

Of course this is a happy thread and we’re all friendly and helpful and enjoy spending time with each other on here, but please be careful!

That’s fine. But I wasn’t sure if everyone was aware a postcard of your location was sent with the gift and I didn’t want anyone to be caught out

Murinae It’s not been made clear. It could be similar to Evolution items - just random, occasional drops.

Woohoo! Second shiny Kyogre in a day! And it’s my best Kyogre overall

I’ve got 15+ Kyogre and none were higher than 89% until now!

I'm so jealous! On the other hand I finally got the Absol task on the last day, and threw an excellent curveball my very next throw, so have another space filled in my 'Dex! It's not a great one but I'm very happy with it!

Just powered up my Kyogre got 8 rare candy from a raid

Trading and friendship levels have gone live... but only for over Level 40

They will be rolling it out to lower levels soon enough; it’ll be to stop a server crash.

Think last time they rolled out it went to Level 35+ afterwards.
