Its not worth me doing raids as the gyms are always full up with really high level Pokemon and the raid parties are always private I really think that there's only 1 local group with 3 accounts each.

If you're gonna take it in a couple of hours anyway, you may as well just take it straight away as they'd only earn 12 coins!

Yes, but that's 12 coins you wouldn't otherwise have. Also, this way the town centre gyms turn over regularly and those even 400m from town stay one colour for a few hours, often for more than one night.

Damn, thank you. There is a local man who disagrees; he follows two women around the gyms just to take them out. Not the whole gym, just their 'Mon. It's the weirdest type of stalking imo.

Xmas, that's a shame. Raiding, especially legendary raiding, is supposed to be a sociable experience.

It's all meditite, today. With a windy weekend I've gone from a handful of candy to well over 100. Picked up a few extra ralts in the wind, too.

Actually been walking one of my weather spawn eevee because I still don't have a particularly good umbreon.

Those Roselias are hard to capture.

And sort of a feminine sudowoodo in usefulness.

Do you mean battling or raiding? Because if you're raiding, it's irrelevant what Pokemon are in the gym.

PickAChew Roselia evolves into Roserade in Gen IV, whereas Sudowoodo never evolves.

Yeah, I guessed that as an option But what I don't get is... just she just turn up to do a raid and there's people doing it but in a private group?

And if so, why not introduce and say hello, mind if I join? That's what DH and I did when raiding was first introduced in the summer (we recognised some faces from seeing them Pokemonning beforehand but we didn't know them), though they weren't using a private group.

We've got a group for the local gyms. We have a heavy imbalance of blues and a few yellows. No regular reds. We've got an agreement on keeping/ attacking gyms to maximise coins. Yellows benefit as they nearly always get to keep a gym to collect coins for longer than 20 minutes and blues don't get stagnant in a full gym doing nothing for days. It's helped people build up their gym badges too.

There must be a lot of students around visiting home as the list of names is quite different to usual and some reds popped up. Quite a few usual suspects like me have had their routine broken with the kids being off. I'm still meeting my streak and can get into other gyms in passing but I'm not getting out for my usual round.

He's a massive ginger and white cat who loves a bit of fuss and isn't averse to a bit of a natter. Then hopefully the usual suspects will take on a Groudon raid and maybe I'll finally catch one as my Xmas present. :o

They've changed the special boxes in the shop! I was going to buy one for the incubators but now they have less incubators and more raid passes that I don't use. So no point now.

Hope you all had a good Christmas. Just to post that my first spin today was a gym and I didn't get a daily incubator, so maybe it had to be an actual pokestop spinned first to get it.

Mrs the free incubators stopped yesterday I believe they were only running from the 22nd-25th!
