I'm thinking of contacting Niantic as everyone else seems to have found several, so why did they not appear for me?

Kpo58 It is completely random, it’s just unfortunate luck on your part.

They really toned down how good the event Pokemon were; there were a lot less wonders and shinies about than previous event days.

Me neither, but I did get a couple with 93% IV so not disappointed!

Community Day here was fantastic. There were about 20 of us bimbling around a local park having a good laugh. We all caught at least one shiny (I caught 4), split into 2 groups to raid Aggron (mine has 98% IV) and we all agreed that Community Day is a great idea and we're all looking forward to the next one.

Last 2 community days I caught 2 each time so I guess it's random. Somebody in our group found 10!!
Overall I have quite a few shinies. I saw 121 Bulbasaurs today (and caught some other Pokemon) and used lucky eggs for extra xp.

Me: how weird that we're in the same part of the country, yet I've hatched a good three or four of them.

MuddlingMackem That’s not weird. You’re both in the UK and egg hatches are random throughout the country; no one area will produce more eggs with a certain Pokemon in.

Really, from posts I've seen you do seem to find some 'mon are more common in various places, and eggs hatch the same things over and over. PickAChew does some of her hunting on my patch, so it's a shame she's missed out on that one so far. :)

MuddlingMackem Yes, different Pokemon are found more commonly in certain places than others, like increased water spawns in places near a lake/beach/sea/river etc, or increased grass Pokemon in heavily parked/grassy areas, but that is only applicable to wild Pokemon.

The Pokemon you hatch from eggs are completely random and are not affected by location.
