Great catch WhatToDo, I'm slightly jealous as I've beaten 5 Groudon and not caught one. I caught a Barboach today and a 10km egg hatched another bloody stick.

When did they put swinubs into 5k eggs? Hatching that was a disappoinment and a half.

Is anyone else having this annoying thing when transferring pokemon where pokedex takes you back to the top instead of staying on, let's say, pidgey? It is driving me mad!

Dillite2 Swinub has been in eggs for a long time, and I’m really glad they are - they’re not a disappointment at all!

In Gen IV, it has its final evolution in the form of Manoswine, and that Pokemon is an absolute beast; very powerful. You want the highest CP and IV combination possible, and a hatched Swinub is a keeper for that very reason.

My DH pinaps every Swinub he sees as he wants an army of Mamoswines; he has over 1700 candies for them

Also yes, everyone has that glitch. It came with the last update and hasn’t been rectified yet.

Yes that glitch is very annoying. Want to do an evolving session to evolve some of the new ones, but holding off until they sort it.

What I honestly hadn't noticed or have forgotten that swinubs were in eggs. These days I hatch one or two 5k eggs per month as I just don't have the time to play and DD prefers the dragon game. I just checked that swinubs IV. 66%. So it isn't even a good one.

Someone on here posted that you type evolve into the search box and all the Pokemon with enough candies are listed! I am going to do that for my next evolve.

I hatched the tiniest wailmer ever, this morning. 19kg and 1.3m!

Ooh nice Feebas. Congrats to everyone who has caught or hatched good things. I didn’t catch a Groudon until my fifth raid when I caught a 100% one. I have 39 Hoenn Pokemon and I’ve got a good few ready to evolve. I’m holding off until they fix the scroll bug though. When I’m doing a lucky egg, I rename everything I want to evolve Aa then sort alphabetically which I think makes it easier.

And I’m really enjoying the weather feature. Although I was amused today whilst doing a wailmer raid in torrential rain that the weather in the game was partly cloudy!

My raid the other day was like that. It was 1oC torrential rain. I took the car all 300 yards to the gym. I would very rarely drive so close (with the exception of brownie nights involving lugging equipment and awkward, tired offspring)

Not hatched much of interest in a while although I've not covered much milage since gen 3 launched. I've kept my streaks going though.

I did an evolving session last night mainly to clear out a load of gen 1s like pidgeys. I didn't try any of my newbies. I'm trying to be grown up and patient waiting for a decent one to come along... at least I'm distracted from my mareep drought!

Is Feebas some special pokemon? Why 20k for candy?

Dillite2 Feebas evolves into Milotic, which is a very strong Pokemon. Comparable to Gyarados it only needs 100 candies to evolve, however you also need to have had Feebas as your buddy for 20km to be able to evolve.

Dillite2 Milotic, its evolution, is Gen III’s Gyarados; it’s a very powerful water Pokemon.

In the games you could only evolve Feebas when its beauty condition was high enough in the contests, so I guess since they can’t do that, they’re adding an element that’s equally as hard.

I'm walking feebas. It's only (haha) 5k per candy but you need 400 and to have walked (presumably) the one you actually want to evolve for 20km, similar to how you walk eevee 10km if you want to evolve it into espeon or umbreon.

Got my medal a couple of days ago for registering 40 Pokemon from the Hoenn region to the Pokédex (now on 41). Other than that a very quiet few days! Have caught a few wild Ralts, but I'm completely out of Pinap Berries, and don't seem to be getting many at all from Pokestops, so haven't been able to Pinap them . I've got a couple of 10KM eggs that are close to hatching, though. Last one was a Dratini so fingers crossed for something new, or at least Gen 3.

I hatched a shiny Shuppet today. I didn’t know that was possible. Nice surprise.

I got an ex raid pass today for next week but I can't go 😭
