Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

Also noticed I'm the only level 30 in the gyms around here, everyone else is in the 20s.

I am waaay behind all of you - I'm only on level 24 might keep checking in though as you all seem much more knowledgeable than I am!

Noticed a weird thing at a gym today. There was one Gyarados in there and no other Pokémon, but as I was fighting the Gyarados I noticed a Blissey appear in the arena just behind it. Thought "boo, someone stuck a Blissey in an open slot as I was fighting". But then once I beat the Gyarados, the Blissey had disappeared. wtf?

It's probably a glitch but I'm reeeeeeeeeally hoping it's a sign that Niantic has banned some of our 'local' spoofers.

I just did a mass evolve and got 69,000 XP, so I'm now Level 28!

Finally got my Blissey, Charizard, Houndoom, Typhlosion, Ninetails and Raichu.

Also hatched my first ever Scyther on the way home so another crossed off

Only 13 more in Gen 1!

Spoke too soon, there was a level 38 person in the graveyard gym, I took it off them and their blissey who was luckily already quite demotivated. Both my pokemon from earlier came back already though so only got four coins from them.

We just tried to train at a friendly gym but could only add a pokemon without any need to train? Is that right? We fed the ones that were already in there and left our mon to have fun.

Yes they've removed the concept of training I think - if you didn't have your Ace Trainer badges then you never will now.

Just spun a pokestop and got a raid pass! I know raids aren't up and running yet so will be interesting to see what it's about.

Pokémon accounts on twitter have just said raids are now for lvl 31 up

Love the new gym system, you feel like you are doing some damage as you fight.

Do you get any xp for gym battling? I didn't notice any today.

I think it's a coin per hour, my dragonite didn't last long and I got 2 coins

Yes, one per hour, up to a daily limit of 100 coins, if you have Pokémon in multiple gyms.

From what I've read, I believe you get alerted when a raid is happening near you so you can join in. So you would be raiding with other members of your team; no need to have a group of your own.

Yes, you can increase Pokemon storage. It's called a "Bag Upgrade".

You've been able to increase both item and Pokemon storage since the beginning of the game!
