Despite only really playing at the weekend due to working I'm now 180k through Level 31. Today I cheated somewhat. The M25 was stationary, so I opened the app and left it on. I had 8 eggs cooking and between junctions 18 and 22 managed to hatch 7 of them. Mantine, 2x Exegcute, Krabby, Eevee, Togepi and Magby.

Congrats Abbey on reaching Level 30, and commiserations Spammy on not being able to log in.

YES! Raids have been lowered to Level 28 (which I've just passed!)

Phew; no possibility of missing out on legendaries!

Raids seem to be mostly live in the US at the moment, but they think it will be rolled out everywhere in time for the games first anniversary at the beginning of July.

Hope they don't take forever to bring raids to Finland like they did with releasing the game last year.

We've got 3 raids about to start beside us. DS is level 25 but still got the raid notification.I don't know if that means he can play or not.
I can't believe they changed the coin allowance just after 2 pokemon returned to us after 14 hrs in gyms! We've still got 2 pokemon that have been in gyms since the new gyms went live so 1 day and 12 hours. We're off out today so will need to rely on others to feed them.

What does it mean when a big egg has appeared on a gym?

You need a raid pass, nameless. Do you have one? If not, go spin the gym's photo disc and you should be given one unless 20 people got there before you.

After you have it, be at the gym when the egg cracks. You can then select your team (I think you have about 90 seconds to do so) of whatever Pokémon you think you should fight with, check out the other players close by, and fight. After the fight you will be given rewards, and the opportunity to try and catch the boss (whose CP will be much smaller by then) for your own. You get a few new balls (premier balls, I think?) to catch it with. You cannot use any other balls, but you can use raspberries.

By the way, the raid's difficulty is shown by the number of little devil heads or whatever they are, above the egg. Your raid is level 2 which is, according to Niantic, possible to solo. The Pokémon won't be super good, but it's still exciting!!

Psammead if there is no timer and no faces on the screen with the egg does that mean no one has signed up for a raid yet?

This is where my 7 year comes in handy, I pretend to be chaperoning her I got scared away by a bunch of teenagers whilst battling alone yesterday, I wish the game was more 'acceptable' here.

Ok so I did it! Level two raid, all on my lonesome. Took about 10 mins to knock down an 11000 CP electrabuzz which I have now caught. Got a rare candy and some golden razzberries I think

Well done! Saving your golden razz's for legendary raids is probably sensible.

Please can anyone help - we've come to do the Gym road and a big crowd had gathered but my DS phone wouldn't let him battle.

It keeps saying "error" - it is his first Gym Raid, I made him work hard to earn it and now he's despondent. We are still here and it's still open if anyone can help.

He has an iPhone 5s btw.
