Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

I have 250 Pokemon storage and 400 bag storage. I'm definitely going to increase my Pokemon storage soon however I am finding it increasingly hard to stay in gyms! I guess this is what Niantic have wanted for people to go out and play.

As for Pokemon special moves, I didn't realise all the Pokemon have different ones! My 2 SlowBros are different as are my 2 Gyarados. Now I know which ones to use for certain gym fights, it was truly a lightbulb moment

The Pokestops are indeed very stingy. I have 3 ultra balls left really need to go out and stock up.

550 storage and 750 bag storage. I top right up then can keep going when I'm in the sticks. I get quite obsessive about how many pokeballs I have.

Does anyone use fruit, does it make any difference at all? Just used it on a pidgey and a weedle, the pidgey took forever to catch and the weedle run away.

A Blastoise only went and rocked up in my living room this afternoon! Think I scared my boyfriend with my excitement 😂
Just wish it was a Charizard or Venosaur instead as I recently evolved a Blastoise after much effort!...still the greatest thing to rock up in the living room though!..also a 724cp Eevee just now.

I have 250 Pokemon storage and 550 bag storage. This means that I can farm for an hour twice a week in a park when visiting my mother and spend the rest of the week throwing balls walking near home. I end up with too many potions and revives because there are only two gyms I walk past. I should make more of an effort I suppose but I'm all about the catching rather than the battling. I get about 60,000 points per evolve session and it puts me right up on the limit of my pokemon storage until I've shovelled out the weedles and pidgeys.

nuttelladreams, on the way back from a day out tonight I talked DH into going home via a local gym which was blue and had a space. Popped one of my guys in and nabbed my coins, as I got booted from it the previous night so not restricted this time by the 21 hours limit. DH, who is yellow team, then proceeded to take down the gym (his first gym take down) and put his guy in to get some coins. It took him ages but he was determined. I was very proud of him.

Within a couple of hours it was back to blue, currently it's red. No doubt by the morning it'll be yellow again. LOL!

Dillite2, I've definitely found pokestops to be very stingy here since the event ended, three or four items max seems to be the norm at the moment, which is rather annoying now that buses are generally going too fast with the new limit to be able to grab from most of them.

May I join please? My dcs are obsessed with PG but cant understand why their 'joint account' progresses so much. Because it's MINE!!!! I walk at least 5k a day at work and regularly run my battery out. I have been known to drop them at school and drive to the cathedral area where there are 14 pokestops.... I didn't know other adults did this....so pleased to have found you!!!!

Get yourself a battery charger Leanin, I take 2 out with me at all times!

I've been looking at the solar powered one in Halfords purely for this reason. Not much good this time of year admittedly!

I have an anker portable charger. Could not survive without it. Even dh has asked for one for xmas.

I've read somewhere there is a petition asking for this speed pokestop to be reverted back to normal. Looks like it might happen. Oh and thanksgiving event is pretty much confirmed. Only bad news is that apparently birds will spawn so pidgeys spearrow and psyducks. Oh well.

I would love the speed restriction to be lifted. That's stopping my son hitting all the stops for me and is a real pain.

Leanin - welcome. Can't promise we are all the grown up actually! I have a portable charger (bought for camping trips, invaluable for PoGo). It holds 4 or 5 iPhone charges from a main charge up. It was about £12 on eBay.

I do use raspberries - can't see they make much difference but I chuck them in when there's something I really want. They are, however, the first thing I delete to make bag space.

Nuttella I was wondering if it was birds...No use to me...

Although we have swapped to eeggecute as a buddy today so that would be useful as we need about 25 to evolve..

Today has been a surprisingly good day considering I didn't get to do much walking. I caught the last bellsprout i needed to evolve a victreebell, I hatched an abra which gave me enough candy to evolve an alakazam and a golem appeared in the lounge! 3 new Pokémon taking me up to 131 in my ppkedwc

For the first time yesterday i met my friend's new DP. My DP was moaning I'd make us walk home for pokestops and he said he plays too! He was so impressed I'd completed the UK pokedex he took pics for his friend

Caught a dratini finally! It's a cp 12 though. But I'm pleased to fill in a space on the pokedex. Also caught my first Lickitung.

Lots of water types around. It's pouring with rain. Does that make a difference?

There's a shadow showing up on my nearby but I'm in my pyjamas and its freezing and snowy outside. Dilemma!

See a shadow dragonite last night but didn't show itself - gutted.

I'd love DH to play but he doesn't 'do' games on his phone. Also has a Windows phone so couldn't anyway!

Frog it appears there will be a thanksgiving event with the same set up as the Halloween one- less buddy walking distance, double candy and certain Pokemon spawning - from what I've read it will be birds mainly so pidgeys spearrows and ducks.

I'll take everyone's unwanted pidgeys, together with weedles they will be powering my push to L28.

When I got home from the school drop off I saw a shadow of a Venusaur and given that I've only ever seen two Bulbasaurs in the wild it was worth a hunt. It was out of the front door, turn right, turn left except I went out of the door and turned left. I know now that I can hunt down a shadow if I need to so now all I need is a few shadows. That puts me on 127 caught, the ones I need to catch are just Scyther and Grimer, the others I can get through walking for the candy.

What date is thanksgiving? I shall save my coins up for incubators then!

I think around Black Friday so 24/24/25 Nov maybe. I'm not sure though. Good idea on saving coins.

Thanksgiving is next Thursday (US Thanksgiving, Canada's is earlier).

Not going to get my hopes up about there being a Thanksgiving event. It may be exclusive to the US, as the recent Lapras event was exclusive to Japan.
