Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

The onix was at mowbray park and we dashed over to saltwell park (via a somewhat creative route, due to the metro being fubared again) for the vulpix. The chansey was hanging around in low fell and I forgot to mention the porygon shadow in Chester.

Levelled up to 27, woo hoo!

Gutted about the change to pokestops though, we get a long bus to stock up and now that just doesn't work.

That's great Nutella. Not bad netting over 10000 xp for a morning walk.

We have one PokeStop in the village. No problem getting it as I am logged into the community wifi there! I got 20 items from it this morning which was nice. Can't be bothered doing much else Pokemon today. If my 3 nature reserve gyms go down later (I am betting on in the half hour before closing) then I will retake tomorrow with the toddler (perk of Monday's off)

Loved the 7 day streak - Lucky Egg next Sunday. Then I hatched a 1127 CP Magmar from a 10k egg - new to me so very happy. Level 22 passing quicker than expected!

My 2k egg was a Spearow

Mine was a zubat

My 5k was a Ghastly

I think I've found a Charmander nest. I've caught 4 of them in a little park in which I've never caught anything before this weekend. I mean, before yesterday I've never seen a Pokemon there, not even any on the 'recent sightings.' I walk through that little park to get the two Pokestops on the way to the three Pokestops near the attached cemetery. Whilst in there today I caught Abra, Charmander and added Tentacruel to the Pokedex.

Half an hour later a wild Nidoqueen appeared and she got added to my Pokedex. I'm now at caught 96, seen 112. I am 5450XP shy of Level 23. Today has been quite good. :o

Can you give us a tiny clue Doc? From your use of 'nowt' I wondered if you were from these parts? Never seen a Charmander.

Thanks for the heads up about dewgong jellywitch. I've never used mine in a gym and have just noticed that it has a 100 blizzard, so should be useful in a friendly gym.

Queenliz how much XP do we get for taking down a gym? I am always too focused on fighting or rushing to get my pokeman in that I never notice XP awarded.

Had a funny experience yesterday! Was battling at 2 gyms near a local landmark, which also happens to have a bit of a reputation as a good place to top yourself (sorry!). A guy in a booth came out after I had been there a while (was battling a level 7 gym so was taking a while) and asked if I was a vulnerable person! Had to fess up that I was playing pokemon, which made him laugh!

Are you finding pokestops very stingy following the event? Most around here only seem to give out 4 items tops.

Dd battled a red gym and took it down. She then built it up to a level 4 gym, and people just kept putting their pokemon in whilst she was building it up. 15 mind later it was a red gym again. She was devastated poor thing. The red team around here just will not let anyone else have a gym, they are very aggressive and take gyms back as soon as another team manages to win one over.

tumpymummy i think you get 150xp per pokemon you defeat at a rival gym.

So if you had a gym with four pokemon in it, you'd take down 4 in the first place getting 600xp. Then 3 the next time getting 450xp. Then 2 for 300xp then 150xp to kick the last one out. So that would be 1500xp for taking down a gym with 4 pokemon in it for example.

Im not sure if that is exactly right but I think it is.

Spent afternoon in Westfield. Nothing exciting. On way home saw local gym with a free slot and as I can't claim until tomorrow, I helped dh put his first one in. His best man- a 532 dewong. He's well pleased with himself.
That's my good deed of the day.

Aw, that's sweet Nutella. Wish my husband would play but my 7 year old can't decide if he should be on our team to help prestige or an opposing team so he could knock a few Pokemon down to make a space.

Dilette - that was mean - hope karma bites their arse.

Somehow my gyms are still holding. And if was a beautiful afternoon so goodness knows how. Tomorrows plan then is a PokeStop run down the high street in town, some shop browsing, maybe the library and cake in a cafe with the toddler.

I also got 3 incubators with the level 30 bonus and I bought another incubator with coins I had. that was 12 uses i had from the 4.

im down to 3 incubators with one use each left and all ive had is a load of rubbish. im not going to use the blue incubators anymore unless I have a 10k egg. its just a waste. ill use my permanent incubator for 2k and 5k and do one at a time as its pointless hatching rubbish.

Where is everyone with Pokemon and bag storage?
Like you queen my eggs are all shite and I always regret it when I buy incubators.
I'm on 140 coins now and pondering what to buy next.
I've got 400 Pokemon and 400 item storage.
The max I've got to was 380 Pokemon and 370 storage. Worth buying more? Which one first?
I'm averaging less than 300 items recently due to an increased apetite for gyms but used to have a lot more.
As for Pokemon it depends how close I am to a lucky egg.
Ideas?

Im ruthless with the pokemon and delete most. Dont need more than 1-2 of each.

Wow queen I'm surprised by that. Can you manage when you're due to evolve? I also tend to keep 2 of each but I would never manage without the extra.

I just have the original storage amounts. I can get about 70 evolves worth stored for an evolve sesh.
think when gen 2 comes I'll have to up it unless they give us more to cope with the increase?! Hope so!

I have so far. I tend to be levelling up quickly so I must be. Of all the good pokemon, I dont have many. One scyther, one Snorlax, 2 Lapras, 1 Magmar, no aerodactyl, no onix, no Blastoise, no Arcanine, etc etc.

I dont keep lots of the same crap in the pokemon storage when I can catch it every day. So I only keep about 2 of each and dont have that many good ones that I'd want to sore more of.

I am over buying incubators too - the infinity one is fine as I'm not in a rush. Need a 10k for a Chansey, Omanyte or Kabuto anyway.

I have 450 bag storage and 450 Pokemon storage. The bag storage works for my play style, which involves stocking right up on London days and decimating it at home. The Pokemon storage is more recent as I've been keeping more for different moves and at different levels, plus one of each so I have a living pokedex.
