Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

In response to the last thread muddling Abra never tends to get very good cp, and they don't boost well on evolving, so might as well evolve what you have!

There's an Onix nest West of Scotland if anyone is interested. I was told today and popped over for this. Im going to try the gen2 candy thing.

Wortortle is on my list for the next evolve session too. :)

We had a funny one today- took dd to train at a gym after school today. We got it up to level 4 when anothet woman with her dd strolls up. Her dd is clearly also battling, only they are from the red team. So there we were- us building the gym up, them tearing it down. Now it's red.

Ps I caught two ponytas and another pikachu today.

Pretty good catching day today. Not loads of pokemon about but definitely more than usual. Think I'll do an evolve session soon as I've got a few new ones waiting to evolve plus a bunch of the usuals.

Young lad asked me today if I was playing, then asked me what level I am, when I said level 25 he gave a great groan of frustration and said he's only level 16 - poor lad!

Thanks, LongtimeLurker. My highest is only 290CP and I've had a 400 or so poof on me, so I'll hang fire for a while. I'm currently buddying Seel as I now only need 12 more candies to evolve him, so I'll wait until then before doing a lucky egg session and will just make do with what Abra I've got by then.

Natsku Poor lad indeed. My kids are extremely miffed that because I'm now playing for me and not them I've overtaken them. I'm now 22, they're 15 and 17. LOL!

ds (8) caught a Mr Mime today, he is absolutely thrilled. Also West coast Scotland, there are only 4 pokestops within our reach and mobile access and he is playing on my phone, so can only play when I'm home. It's a slow game in rural Scotland.

I have enough candies to evolve my wartortle to a blastoise but I have a dilemma because my wartortle is a bit of a dud. So contemplating waiting to evolve a stronger squirtle and then evolving up.

I had a quick look at my pokedex and feel a little frustrated as apparently I have spotted an exeggutor, charizard, venusaur, lapras and a dragonite. I don't remember seeing any of these! When?! cry I need them!

I think I like all these spawns except I'm generally catching on my way to or from work so have to leave some uncaught. Stupid life getting in the way of Pokémon.

Oh yes, meant to ask the poster on the last thread who caught lots of exeggcutes in Strathclyde country park - whereabouts?! Thank you!

Re: Strathclyde park - I park at the back of the watersports centre and then walk round. They appear everywhere! I caught four before getting out the car on wednesday. There are also several pokestops and two gyms. ..one near the watersports centre and the other at the entrance to M and Ds at the other side of the loch.

Ookmybanana, that's due to one of the recent updates - now when you look in a gym, anything that's in there that you haven't got now counts as 'seen'. It's very frustrating to have all those shadows in the pokedex!

Also lots of Psyduck, poliwag, staryu that I ignored mostly. Magicarp also there too

That's interesting about Pokémon in gyms now showing in your pokedex, Spun. That is not a useful feature.

There are two stops about 5 min walk from my work longtimelurker so I go once or twice a day to get stuff for ds. It's a Historic Scotland property and I think the guy in the visitor centre is a little concerned about the crazy middle aged woman wandering between the two stops a few times.
I was in Edi last week and it was awesome, walked down Princess Street and there was one stop after another. We never had that many items before.

JellyWitch, my DS caught Chansey at level 10! I'm level 26 and I don't have it either. Chansey is so cuuute, and I'm very envious!
