Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

Caught bog all today! Not seen anything more exciting than a piffling Paras (or 6).

There's a bulbasaur nest in the middle of darlo, so may hit that next week. Not seen any reports of anything exciting on The Silph road, but not all our nearest nests get reported on there. I should probably get myself a reddit account so I can fill some in.

We desperately need a new thread, btw. Hope someone has a witty name thunked up.

Oh, I picked up a third porygon today too. PokeTracker is really good for finding stuff near me.

Has anyone else noticed the weird stacking of creatures? I went out at lunchtime and saw a jynx, grimer, geodude, bat, paras and two pidgeys all kind of stacked up on each other. It was very odd.

I've caught a decent range of creatures today - the usual shellder/gastley/horsea/jynx, but a few pinsir, a couple of machop, a couple of geodudes, a grimer and two squirtle which I am desperate for. The fucking squirtles cost me 15 ultra balls too, the little blue shits. Spotted an Abra on the way home but it ran away after I'd launched one ball at it.

Possom, that was a Gyrados!!!! They are super rare and very hard to catch, you can get them by evolving magicarp.

I caught a Pikachu because of the update but that was because I was in town, when I'm at home I'm in the dark. No more racing out when I see a shadow and stalking it

I've also caught a hitmonchan. My first one. Now 139 in the dex. Have enough abra candy after hatching one so that's 140. Missing 3 only. Not done much playing apart from that.

I've cashed on 4 coins today. I average 3-5. 10 is impressive. What do you buy? Incubators?

Saw and caught my first ever sandshrew today.

Also saw a dragonsomething?? Blue snake type thing. Chucked a load of ultra balls at it bit it disappeared.

I think they are trying to be kind to me now. They only offered me one Pokemon this afternoon. It was a Pidgey which turned out to be a Ditto. I was very pleased!

Today I got my first Hitmonchan and a couple of Pikachus, and on the bus on the way home I got my third Porygon. :)

DementedPixie my Bulbasaur spawn has changed to Poliwag. I am unimpressed as I can catch them with a walk from my front door.

I think my max coins has been five.

My gps was terrible this morning and I couldn't get pokestops or reach pokemon..was nearly crying with frustration. Had to do a software update on my phone, restart my phone and switch the gps on and off several times. Think it's working now.

Gutted to hear my nearest nest has stayed the same as at the last migration so nothing new and exciting to catch. Am sick to death of wee green bastards that don't stay in a poke ball (bulbasaur!)

It's a regular glitch. I sometimes have to close and reopen 3 times to get pokestops to show. I really hope they fix it soon.

Deleted and reinstalled. Pokestops are back and sightings is showing what Pokémon are at 'nearby' pokestops.

Just looked and there are people in Manhattan with no pokestops showing so that's just a glitch at least.

There are no pokestops or sightings showing up at all. Nearest pokestop is about 1.5 miles away over a river but I could see it on my map as well as a few others in the far distance. It did this last week and came back so assumed it was a glitch but now not so sure.

As there aren't any nearby pokestops (visible on map or not), does that mean no Pokémon will ever show up in my sightings box?

(Unless I'm in town, or wherever, obviously)

Yep, apart from daily checking in, this is a game I play in my work lunch break. Not at home, not in local hills and forests.

I'm a rural player so you know just how I feel about this. What's the point in telling me that there's a Rattata at a Pokestop a mile and a half away - what do I care? If it were a legendary Pokemon I still couldn't walk there fast enough to get it. I preferred knowing what was just around the corner - I could cope with not knowing which corner because a bit of walking would sort that out.
