Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

Walked 12k and had lunch at a pokestop pub to try and build up a supply of balls. I used all bar 10 of the balls and when I was 5 mins from home I caught a challenging Pidgey that turned into a Ditto!

I am thinking of going on a day trip somewhere tomorrow, so was wondering- what are the nests like in London? Or perhaps you have some other suggestions that are in Kent?

The Pokestop density in central London is pretty much unbeatable. The South Bank is good and the area around the Tower of London is always rewarding.

Hmmm... rarely see magicarp on my day to day ramblings.

Levelled up to 23 by evolving my useless Pidgey though.

We might have to find out if we find space in a friendly gym, tomorrow!

London nests aren't that exciting at the moment but the south bank and St James' and Green Park are always rewarding. Great for pokestops and more Pokemon than you have balls for.

That said, I have made an effort today to stock up for the weekend and have 100 (of various types in my bag). Got to take that gym back on the way home too - it lasted nearly 12 hours.

I've levelled up to 30. Pretty pleased by that. At least some balls and potions, and these max revives look good as well.

No I still don't have a ditto.

I am hoping to catch some French Pokemon this weekend!

If you're in Kent Leeds Castle has been pretty good to me - I always seem to get loads of Abra and got 2 Doduo last time I went.

I took on a ditto with 77cp in a gym tonight with an eggsectutor. The ditto transformed into the same as mine but retained the same cp so I wiped it out quickly.

BolivarAtasco, it does look like Ditto is more of a novelty than a useful battle guy.

Jelly you were right. My 1920 CP Kingler was shit in a gym.

Has anyone had a screen to verify they're not a robot whilst playing? I got disproportionately excited at the new screen and thought it was some kind of exciting update

I tried ditto in a gym too and it was fun seeing it turn into a gyrados for all of a few minutes before it died! Maybe if I catch one with food ivs and decent CP/HP it could have some use otherwise just good for the pokedex.

Evolved Ekans today, scary looking Arbok! Nearly walked enough for ninetails, and evolved a Vileplume, I wonder if I got ditto today cos I literally played all day lol

This double xp event is fab- I am already at the 100k mark and I only moved up a level a couple of days ago.

I do love Leeds castle, but doggie will have to come with us, and she is not allowed there.I think London it will have to be. If the trains are running.

Just had an idea! Has anyone specifically evolved a low level CP mon for fighting in friendly gyms so that you can get the 500 prestige? I had to battle against a 2100CP vaporean to get in to a friendly gym today and my exeggutor, victreebel and sliwbro are all higher than 1100CP so I didn't use them.

I'm in bed and there's a Pikachu shadow! Presumabky there's nothing I can do to lure it in and I can't go looking for it so just have to hope it moves closer. Argh! So frustrating!

I want to go and get it but I'm in my pjs, it's 0 degrees and I'm ill...

I had a snorlax come visit me in bed when I'd never even seen one before so anything is possible!

I've been to the bottom of the garden (trying not to sound like a burglar as next door is still up) and it has moved to the first slot but nope! So tempted to put a coat and boots on and go up the street. They'll think I'm bonkers if they look out though.
