Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

Sorry if this is a thick question but when do you know you e caught a Ditto? Does it show up on the caught screen just after you catch it or will it just appear in the Pokemon bag? If that makes sense.

Enid it's sort of like when an egg hatches, the screen says 'oh' and then it dies a little transformy palarva

When you throw the ball and it does the shake thing, rather than say 'gotcha' it says 'oh' and then it does a purple screen thing and ditto shows in the screen

I haven't got Ditto either but I've got a shit load of pidgeys and zubats after 2 hours of low-level life hunting

Well getting the zubats is good for candy for gen 2 Cartwheel

Got a bit excited and caught a Pidgey. It was just a Pidgey.

I don't have a ditto either. I had enough rats/pidgeons/weedles for a lucky egg though. The 98,000 took me through to L28 so it's back to low level stuff today with a chance at another lucky egg before the end of the event. The five day weather forecast is for it to be dry so I'll be doing a lot of walking over the weekend.

Finally managed to evolve a Ninetails, very happy. The last Vulpix needed showed up on the radar when I was still in my pyjamas but the only people who would see me at the most likely spawning point are the neighbours who we don't get on with anyway and the hotel/pub landlord who has probably seen weirder things than some woman in her pyjamas out pokemon hunting in the first glimmers of daylight. It was were thought it would be.
We now have 120 in the pokedex, seen 130, some of them only ever in a gym though, never seen an aerodactyl or a lapras even on the radar.

Just done a mass evolve, got 140k xp and now I'm 50k through level 25
Going to try very hard to get enough evolve fodder to use the free lucky egg before the event is over.

I now have a Ditto, it was a 338cp Rattata next to a Pokestop. On my way back it was there again but it did a runner after the second ball. I can now stop throwing balls at big rats and pidgeons and just concentrate on scooping up the smaller ones that come quietly.

Has anyone got DItto from anything other than Pidgey, Zubat or Ratatatatat?

I have heard of people having Magikarp turn into Ditto.

I think magikarp is another one that you get them from

Both my Dittoes came from Magikarps, both of them took more effort to catch than I thought it should given their CP.

Caught a second just now from a pidgey. It's 124cp my other is 546 which is the highest I've seen so far (I'm sure there is higher)

546 is the highest I've heard of cant. Mine is CP278.
I wonder if it's cp determines how much more cp it has on a pokemon it's copying in battle....because it's true cp isn't reflected in battle?

FrogTime I'm evolving the Pidgeys and whatnot before transferring as I go at them moment as there's the double XP. I'm saving my lucky egg for when it's back to normal. :-)

I did a lucky egg session yesterday which put me into Level 25 too. :)

I'm almost out of balls because of this ditto thing. Only have 9 ultra balls left and nothing else. And no ditto. FFS.

Been out for 2 hours, caught rattas, pidgeys a migcarp, oddish, 2 gravellers ,slowpoke, eggecute but no ditto.

I also hatched a bullbasuar

but no ditto

FrogTime because maths isn't my strong point, I don't know for sure but I think it adds the cp onto the cp of the attacker it's taking on?

My higher ditto is a wonder on appraisal and my other is above average. Will check the IVs now.

OMG my first Ditto has 100% IVs!

I just sent 70 pidgeys to be ground up into dog food. Not a single one of them was a ditto.
