Hello you lovely lot. Nowt new today, but at least I caught a couple of Squirtles and have enough candy to get Wartortle, so that's 4 to add to my Pokedex when I do a Lucky Egg mass evolve.

He's gone I was just convincing myself to pop out too.

I love Snorlax btw. He was one of my first (sounds wrong!) so very low cp but he's still a fave.

Very jealous bumwad I've never had a sniff of a tangela.

Will try get my 2km egg finished today but it might be unreasonable to think I can play in a shopping centre on a Saturday in the lead up to Xmas.

Can I ask a silly question? How do you choose which 'mon go into battle? At gyms I press the boxing glove and then my top six highest CP mon appear. So say I want to use my Snorlax (he's my third highest cp) I touch him and the screen goes to my Pokemon list. So I touch him again and it goes back to the gym too six list.
I press 'go' Sometimes the Snorlax is fighting but often it's my my no 1 CP mon, a vaporeon.
I want to use lower CP mon sometimes but I can't seem to choose them. How do you do it?

Germgirl - just press each 'mon then it will allow you to switch, then do the same for the others.

When the 6 pokemon come up for the battle you click on one you don't want to use, it takes you to your pokemon list and you choose one to replace it.

Are we getting double XP from our 7 day streak this week? Just got 5300 from my first catch of the day (7th one).

We are also going to London today. Fuck it, let's have a day out, even if it is just going to the parks and looking at the Christmas lights.

By the way, bought the perfect gloves for Pokemon go yesterday in Primark. 2 pairs of fluffy pink fingerless gloves for £1.

The lights are lovely. Don't miss Carnaby Street, and all the little roads behind it, St Christopher's Place, Bond Street, and of course the rumoured Scyther in Cavendish Square behind John Lewis.

tumpymummy, DD has some of those fingerless ones with the foldover mitten from the poundshop. She's been telling me I should get some as I Pokemon with a glove on my phone holding hand and nothing on my other hand, I just tuck it up in my sleeve when I'm walking. LOL!

A Dratini popped up in first place on my sightings list, I've done a circuit of all the nearby spawning points and the pokestop...... no Dratini. Some of the others on the list appeared. So annoying.

I do click any old one and go to the list. Then choose from there but most of the time it seems to default to my top Vaporeon.

French Pokémon are the same ! Struggling with data tho so gave up and enjoyed the Lille Christmas market instead!

We caught a Snorlax today in shopping centre..Was so excited...I had just picked up a 10k egg so wondering if that is a snorlax too.
I hatched a bulbasuar for a 2k egg so have enough to evolve upwards.. Switching buddies to Rhyhorn at end of next 3k.

No ditto

We all got a ditto this morning (Northumberlandia is a slowpoke nest for any NE people BTW)

My local lake has gone Charmander mad. Never seen one before, now I have enough to evolve one with my binge tomorrow. Also met 2 lovely guys playing and had a nice chat. So starved of Pokemon-literate chat apart from here! Came up against a Chancey in a friendly gym - only 800 or so and I couldn't wear it down. Will power up mine now!

I got one., I got one! I got a Ditto! Also caught it from the same magicarp for my DD and DS1 caught it too.

So. DH is generally lucky with games. After being talked into this by me he has now hatched a pikachu from a 2k and caught 2 ditto in the last 48 hours.
Meanwhile I hatched a ekans and a duck. And no ditto.

Are people finding Dittos in the usual places? Or out of the ordinary? For example, Pidgeys always spawn by my house. Am I wasting my time catching these hoping they'll be Ditto? Do I need to be looking for more unusual spawns?
