I was feeling guilty about buying the incubators but I hatched a snorlax with decent but not perfect IVs so am more a peace with it . I've powered him up and am looking forward to putting him in a gym.

I cashed 10 gyms again and have 11 or 12 Pokemon in gyms so have a bit of leeway if a couple get kicked out.

I did a 3 hour hike this morning so hatched a load of eggs and my buddy made magikarp candy.

I'm planning to go to London on Monday as it's the last day of the Halloween event. I'd love a big charlizard I'm never satisfied

Yesterday I put my Raichu in a gym at Lakeside and it is still there!!!!!!!!!!! I just collected 10 more coins. This is the lingest my pokemon has ever stayed in a gym.

Very jealous of all these gym collections. Does anyone have a cunning plan on what to do to get into a level 10 gym? Anyway you can kick someone out? I keen a friendly gym. There are 3 near me which I drive past everyday. So very frustrating.

Nothing you can do without a second account (not good team behaviour) or a friend from an opposing team rotate it down a notch.

I do find that the bottom one or two dropout regularly enough though to get a slot. I need to find some more secure mystic gyms - I'm in 6, with 2-4 more I can take but not keep. I have good defenders going spare though so need to widen my horizons!

Is there any way to get into a level 10 gym? I'm curious about that as well.

Well I didn't have to kick out the yellows somebody from team mystic in the village had already done it for me, so managed to get back into MY gym and the other village one! In 4 and cash out in about 6 hours so might have a wander into the next town and see what I can do.

It's great having 2 of each I have put 1 gyarados and 1 slowbro in gyms but have also got some to battle with

Ooooh and I've just hatched a Vulpix with 21 coins, pleased with that!

The only one on MN to openly admit playing. Well, on these threads anyway. I know from experience that I'll only get chased away with pitchforks if I get all mansplainy or MRA, and as I'm definitely not an MRA and you lot all know far more than I do about this game I think I'm pretty safe. :o

I'm going fairly local tomorrow mainly to fill up on Pokeballs and to do a mass evolve with a lucky egg, just to free up space in my Pokemon box for catching in London village. Could, and indeed would, somebody tell me whereabouts one could reliably catch Pikachu and Bulbasaur in such a rural idyll?

Pre-Halloween event there were pikachu in jubilee gardens (near the london eye). None there yesterday though. I think it's a spawn rather than a nest and spawns have been thrown by the event.

Not sure about Bulbasaurs - nothing central.

If you need charmander or Magmar thought, green park and Hyde park are go-to.

not even going to try. id rather buddy something i can evolve quickly.

QueenLiz - I have done more buddying with my Snorlax - quick wins for powering up. Did a short walk with a doduo for a candy so I can evolve it (second time for me) and also walked a clefairy this morning and easily got the candy to evolve it. It feels better seeing something for the return. Dratini is a long way off for me - I have a dragonair but likewise only 12 candy in hand.

I picked up three more 10km eggs today to help wipe out the misery of my pinsir. Now the pressure is on to hatch them before Sunday night!

Muddlin well done on the Duduo, I'd love one to pop out of an egg, or appear, both of DS's came from eggs, it would be heaven to find a nest! Especially if it was next to a Lickitung nest 😳

Today I hatched a eggsecute out of a 5k egg, with enough candies to be able to evolve so I now have an exeggutor, first one - squeee!!

Managed to level up to 24 too, & caught my first Marowak in Asda so two new Pokemon, it's been a while since I had one of those!

Really looking forward to Charmander's & Magma's in London tomorrow

I caught a Gengar yesterday morning, I was well pleased. As he is my favourite Pokémon

Furty I'll be there at around 5ish and have about 2 hours. I'm determined to catch enough charmanders to evolve - need 7 I think.

I have 4 eggs cooking - 3 of them 5k and a 10k. Also got a second 10k which is a bloody miracle. Lots of walking tomorrow and hoping to hatch all of them!

He's a beaut furty, I'm well jell! I brought extra incubators but have hatched mainly Caterpie and Weedles.

We had a lovely day today, have enough for 60 evolves but I'm hanging tight till I have 80. I'm walking with my Geodude now, they are rare as rocking horse poo round here so I'm hoping to walk him and achieve all his evolutions.

I've been walking my dratini. Now on 94 but I really need 125 as my dragonite is 170cp and I can't evolve him can I?

I got 2 weedle eggs today.

170CP is quite poor Nutella!!! You need to keep walking.

(As a comparison my Dragonair is 620CP and I was planning on powering it up before eveloving!)

My dragonair is comparable at 637CP. My other remaining dratini are 308 and 339. It's a long way to a dragonite and I only really need it for the pokedex. Oh and for a chance at a central london gym, which are all 10 tier dragonite. They really need to overhaul the gym system!

My best dratini is 576 which I hope would give me an ok dragonite and a good dragonair. All I'm missing is the patience. Let's see where I get to by Monday and I can make a decision.
