I like the change about gym prestige rules too. Most of the gyms arounf here were level 10 and impossible to take down. Should be different now.

Im still missing an Onix. Seen a shadow a few times. I got a caterpie from a 2k egg.

I'm only 2 candies away from a slowbro. Is there a slowking, like in the movies?

What maps or radars do you guys use?

Think I'll do my evolve tonight.

I don't normally use any tracking things. I don't think most of them are working anyway.

I'm also not sure if I can be bothered to carry on playing until second gen comes out and then start obsessing about not having more stuff! Hard work.

No slowking yet just Slowbro - great gym defenders. I have a few!

Since Fastpokemap went down there's not been any effective tracking. I did use it a bit (got my onyx, porygon and Wild lapras that way) but not missing it too much as I am now down to buddying for all but a Chansey.

I haven't found anything work like fastpoke..

I was planning to do an evolve soon however with next Generation coming not sure what candy to hold onto.

Never got this lucky before. I buddied mankey yesterday with 35 candies. today i hatch a mankey and now have enough candies to evolve

also does anyone know if a lucky egg will boost the first catch bonuses?

QueenLizIII, I hatched a Caterpie from a 2k today too. Finally got enough candies for my Alakazam after catching a few Abras this week, I just need to bide my time for an Abra worth evolving. Now buddying Seel as I only need 16 candies.

Managed to get myself back into my two local gyms this morning in time to get my coins. Will leave it until tomorrow afternoon to try and get back in again - no doubt they'll both change hands overnight - and then I can claim my coins straight away. :)

I've been Much More Ill Than Usual the last few weeks, but I've managed to get my Pokédex up to 131 & have reached Level 26.

I want to go to town tomorrow to get some badges from Girlguiding HQ for my Brownies & if I can manage it will go to the IWM to hunt for more Bulbasaur. A couple of stints there (one VERY brief, at the end of a spawn, The Day I Did Not Go To Hospital But The Nice Paramedics Took Me To The Shops So I Could Get A Powerpack For My Phone Instead...) have got me a good way towards the 125 candy I need...

I only need to catch one more Squirtle & then I can evolve one of my Wartortles. The park at the top of my road's had a few Wartortles spawn recently, so I'm hoping I might manage to catch one with a higher CP to evolve...

The loss of the Blackheath Charmanders is a source of Woe to me. It wasn't BRILLIANT, but it got me enough over several sessions to evolve a Charizard.

Am thinking of maybe paying a trip to Crystal Palace once I'm better (well, as well as I get during the winter...) to try to hunt for some Machops. And see if I have any luck with Destiny/Dragonair - apparently they show up there quite often...

I'm buddying one of my Kabuto at the moment as both hatched, never seen one anywhere - I need 10 candies though & they're a 5km/candy monster, so it will be a LONG walk. And Sod's Law says I'll get to 40.99km & hatch another with 10 candy, of course...
