Does anyone know where in London is good for Bulbasaur? Can't find any (new) info online and I know the spots change periodically. Taking DS tomorrow who is desperate for venusaur! Only got about 15 candies so far so 100 seems a long way off...

I fell off piste a bit after my samsung phone tried to melt at level 21. Can someone bring me up to speed with all the candies and distance to evolve?

When I last played they had just added the buddy part, but what do i need to do to get them to dvolve easier??

I have gloves that are supposed to be smart phone compatible but they don't seem to work very well. Thinking I should just cut the thumb off one of my gloves!

We went to Butlins Bognor at the weekend, and although it is my own personal hell it more than made up for it by being Pokémon Mecca. There were so many, unusual and high level ones popping up too, and lots of pokestops. I got a few new ones - four ponyta, a scyther, a cubone and a rhydon, plus lots that I very rarely see - pikachu x3, bulbasaur x2, charmander x2, lots of vulpix and growlithes, plus chansey and a few ekans which gave me my second Arbok.

So. Now I'm just a bit disappointed by the pickings locally - although I'm excited about potentially getting my Gengar (even though DH and I have decided that he's doing a sexy dance and that's a bit disturbing!)

Just evolved 67 with a lucky egg, I am never just evolving 30 at a time again, lesson learnt! Cubones keep popping up in the living room, it's awesome! So much more incentive to keep walking when the distances are more achievable.

I have an absolute shitload of cubones, haunters, gastleys, meowths and drowzees. Planning a massive evolving session.

Well after my Ds put a catapie on the gym this afternooon, I was on the verge of putting myself on a level 8 gym and it froze ..No more time had to collect same DS from Tae KWon do..then 2k egg was another Caterpie..

Caught a psyduck also which actually was a nice change.

LumpySpacedPrincess I've only got 9 or 10 to evolve, but need to have a clearout, so will evolve Pidgeys, etc for the XP and then transfer them. A friend told me to do that to maximise the XP.

Omanyte is buddy now. I need 23 candies and will get one every 1.25k.

Doable. I need 88 candies to get Dragonite. I dont think that is doable.

Just done the mini update. Hoping fewer glitches. I need to do more buddying, make the most of this!

I have a Dratini as my buddy and I'm hoping to rack up enough candy to evolve it before the event is over.

I'm loving the double candy thing :o Got my 400 magikarp candy now, and have moved onto having a dratini buddy - need loads though, so might swap it for one or two others that only need a couple of candy and go back in a few days.

Also, I really like the new login screen too - nice change.

I wish I had caught a charmander - I have literally never seen one! I saw a charizard in a gym earlier though, and it's my new must have :o gonna take a while though...

I took a gym in the middle of nowhere at 8.10pm. Half an hour later my gengar was back home. So annoying - I only needed it in for a first thing in the morning claim. I will have to swing by there on the way to the station now - might leave a pidgey to make a point.

Whats turned up in everyone's' living rooms tonight? I've had 3 Cubone, a Ghastly, a Drowsee and a Haunter.

I have one charmander that came from an egg. Never come across another one in the wild. Likewise pikachu.
