I cut through the schoolyard today as I was running late for work and found a vulpix there so reckon I'll be doing that again!

Here's my top Pokemon and yes 5 are in gyms at the moment

Much excitement last night as a snorlax appeared on our nearby. After a quick word with some boys on bikes that told us exactly where it was we belted down and caught it its a crap cp but we don't care. Also noticing onix are appearing a lot more, caught 3 in the last couple of days. I have 9 lines in bingo. I love this game

After all the excitement of my first Vulpix yesterday, I just caught another one round the corner from my house!

i feel like Snorlax and lapras are so far out of my reach I haven't event really considered that id ever catch one haha! What kind of location did you get one in? DB got a lapras at the beach but I don't know anyone else with one.

A wee hour's walk this morning, hatched a Charmander out of an egg (yay!!), caught a Squirtle and managed to put my Electrobuzz into a vacant spot in a gym.

I got my Snorlax at a harbour

I hatched mine.

I've noticed a change again and I'm happy as even though I had one, a 1400 cp Dewgone showed up last night.

A 10k egg hatched earlier and not a duplicate - got a Pinsir.

I've never had a 10k egg so I doubt I'll get one that way

No harbours here either! I'll just have to pray the game decides to give me some good eggs soon

It used to be a venonat and zubat spawn point and then suddenly there was a snorlax there so there is hope!

Is bingo the lines going across on the Pokedex? If so I have 9 lines.

Seen and caught 102 and am level 26.

I would love a Lapras, Areodactal or Snorlax. I only seem to get Jyxn out of my 10KM eggs

Does anyone else gym fight just for the experience and fun? I just helped take a gym down next to work and my team took it. I didn't bother putting anything in there though - even though there was space - because there's no way I would pick up the coins before it switches again!

You can pick up the coins immediately jelly, you don't have to wait the 21 hours.

But I do fight for the xp, longest I've kept a gym is about 3 hours - would love one day to be the leader of a gym that's so powerful it can't be taken. small dreams in life

Nice seaking rue, I find mine is good at going up against vaporeon in gyms which i find a bit odd given its just a fish.

Does anyone know if you were to power up a pokemon to its max capacity and then keep powering up as you levelled up and we're able to power up more, would the pokemon get a better appraisal? Or does what the screen lady says stay the same throughout the evolutions and power ups?

My Lapras is as powered up as it can go atm and I have enough candy left to power up a couple more times, I should level up in the next day or two so will check!

Does anyone else find the types of spawn changes depending on time of day and weather? Drowzees, Jynx and other psychic types are more common at night I've found, and water types seem to appear when it's raining as well as near water sources.

You can't pick up immediately if you've already collected though - I picked up from my two gyms near home at 9am before the nature reserve opened and they were at risk. So a lunchtime gym fight was never going to be of use!

Time of day definately. Late afternoon I get better than pidgey/ratata/Wardle in the village. There's also a mankey spawn point at the crossroads but they only show at about 6pm when I'm on the bus home, never in the morning on the way to work or when walking through any other time on in day off.
Haven't been out at night because of DD but local FB page people say lapras,aerodactyl, kabuto and fairy types are out at the park between 10-2am.
I'll never be there at that time though!

Ahhh I see jelly that scenario didn't occur to me as I've never been able to take a 2nd gym, let alone a 3rd haha!

I intend to take my London trained Pokemon and dominate the local remote location gyms! There are at least 6 in my sights!

Today is the first day (now level 22 with a 1440CP Aerodactyl and a team of ace Hypnos) I've had a chance at a brief toe hold in a central London gym. Onwards and upwards.

I have 7 lines so far, caught 106 and am on level 24. It's slow going getting to level 25!

These are my best Pokemon at the moment

Frog I've managed to catch a Lapras and Snorlax now. We caught our Lapras in a housing estate, near a dry ski slope (have no idea if the ski slope makes any difference) and we caught the Snorlax beside a wee burn running through a village.

We have found that the rarer ones tend to pop up at night although my mad dad caught a dragonite, middle of the day in a housing estate so who knows. I think that going off the main roads and onto the side roads in villages/towns give better Pokemon but I'm just waiting on getting reported for kerb crawling

I caught my snorlax and Lapras too. Tiny cps though.

Caught both in small built up town. There's always hope :)

Frog - the appraisal won't change. You can power it up, so it can have higher CP, but you cannot turn an average into a wonder.
