I took two gyms today and put Pokemon in two more - just a few weeks ago I was scared of going anywhere near gyms and now I love a good battle! And it's a lot easier since the schools all went back.

Got booted out of all four within hours, but hey ho - DS was so proud of me!

Teapleaselouise my crappy Hypno lasted a whole night and is still my only gym foray so far.

Hatched a Hitmonchan from a 10k egg today, which made up for the one that got away at bookgroup. Otherwise not much happening. Still not a sniff of a Pikachu.

I had the most amazing day in London yesterday, walked for miles, got my first Ryhorn & then 4 more in Russel Square Gardens.

Had a few problems with signal on the South Bank, missed out on a Mr Mime, Slowbro & who knows what else, crossed the river then walked along the bank to St Paul's, bit disappointed as not much seemed to be happening round there, not sure if I was looking in the wrong place, lots of Pokestops, not many Pokemon

Walked from there toTower Hill, caught a Mr Mime, various magicarp which meant I could evolve to a Gary!
Lots of Clefairy so I now have a Clefable, caught 2 Pikachu's in the moat around the Tower, had another Mr Mime turn up, along with a Polywrath, (first one I've caught as opposed to evolved) Sandshrew, Slowepoke.
Had a ??? Golduck appear, but he escaped the ultra ball & did a runner.

So am now level 22 & my top 3 are now completely different

I had an hour Pokehunting this morning and caught Ratbastards, Weedledicks and Pidgeyfuckers. My 10km egg hatched. A Mankey! Get in! Then after work on the 10 minute walk to my car (long way round, to hit the only Pokestop in the area) I caught a Goldeen. First ball too. Dead chuffed.

Back at work today so got plenty of balls, pokemon were a bit crap though although I caught my highest hypno 1011 in the wild!!

OH AND I SAW A LAPRAS SHADOW!! yesterday I was all, 'oooh it'll never happen, they're so far out of reach'. Well take that yesterday frog! ignoring the fact i havent actually seen one just a shadow haha

I think the reason none of us have pikachu is because itsoverpeople has them all

Morning all - even though this thread is in active, I keep missing it as I don't see it when scrolling in chat.

I'm waiting for an evolve session and will hit 28 tonight. I need Pikachus. Well, Raichu. He's not as cute though.

Has anyone bought lucky eggs or is that somewhat cheating?! I've got in th habit of saving up about 60 evolves to do with one but I don't think I get another until L25 and am still only on 22. It's probably worth it?

Of course it's not cheating but it depends how you want to play the game.

I'm not spending any money at all and as I'm on an iPhone I can't even use google credits however, I walk a lot and I live in an area where I can get pokecoins from holding gyms. I get more enjoyment by not using real cash but if you get more enjoyment by paying for things then what are you waiting for 💰💰💰

When a few of us compared stats earlier in this thread or the last one it seemed clear that posters that used cash (or google credits) for incubators had a wider range of higher CP Pokemon.

I've bought incubators just to clear out the slew of 2km eggs. And occasional lures. It's not costing me more than an occasional coffee and croissant though. I'm doing my best to earn gym coins now too and that is more satisfying!

I had a fantastic day Pokémon hunting in London yesterday (as well as seeing Aladdin for my birthday present).

I caught 3 new ones: Omanyte, Electabuzz, and PIKACHU!!!!

I hatched loads of eggs, including my first Grimer.

I caught loads of Poliwag along the South Bank so I've now got enough to get a Poliwrath. I also caught loads of Magicarp and hatched one, so I'm much closer to getting a Gyarados.

I also picked up 3 10k eggs. I've only ever had one before yesterday!

Oh, and I also levelled up so I'm now level 21.

I've got a load of stuff waiting to evolve with a lucky egg, so I'm due 4 more new Pokémon I think.

I think one of my favourite parts of the Pokemon hunting was getting my puny Bulbasaur into the Tower or London gym in a panic when it suddenly became empty. He didn't last long, but I managed to claim my coins from it!

I just spent another 20 euros on coins and stocked up on lucky eggs, incense, lures and increased my bag storage in preparation for London next week. I don't mind spending real money on it, I don't spend much money on things that are just for me so its nice to treat myself like this.

I hatched another pikachu from an egg this morning bringing my total to 13. I've found a spawn in London and its leading me to believe that Pokemon local to the pokestop you obtain the egg from might influence what you end up with.

My 5 year old is desperate for a Raitchu but would allow any of the weaker pikachu to be thrown into the candy grinder.

We have 57 candy now! Raitchu here I come!

I am 900 points short of getting to level 23 and i have NOTHING left to evolve. I need to go and just catch any old crap to get there.

Today I hatched a Psyduck, so was able to evolve a Golduck (new one for me).

I also hatched a Weedle and a Caterpie. FFS.

Holland Park again at lunch - lots of fellow trainers to natter to - apparently I just missed a lapras in the Kyoto gardens - but I did get more first elekrabuzz as well as a few Bulbasours and squirtles so I was a happy bunny.

A Lickitung ran away from me today
Did get an Abra though and lots of evie's for evolving purposes

Getting a Pikachu is becoming a bit of an obsession. I'm going out Shoreditch-way tomorrow night and I'm genuinely considering going a bit earlier for a diversion by the Tower...

Maybe I need a lunchtime circle line jaunt towards the tower too!

The pikachu ds caught in our lounge he put 2 incense on as soon as he saw it was nearby

I hit level 19 today and got two new Pokémon too. Finally caught a Mr Mime, he's so creepy! I also got a Rhyhorn. I caught a Rhynose ages ago.
