I'll start!

B: bran sticks and oat milk, glass of OJ.
L: Hummus and tomato toastie.
D: Stir fry: pepper, courgette, onion, garlic, ginger, carrot and Quorn chicken-style pieces, noodles and lots of soy sauce. First time I've tried the chicken-style pieces; they were on offer. Nice and low cal/high protein, but nothing special in terms of taste.
Snacks: apple, banana, bombay mix.

@ppeatfruit I LOVE the river ford orange and beetroot soup and non of the philistines in my house like it either so I have it for lunch when we’re not all trapped together in the same house all the time!

Yeah it’s kind of amazing what they’ve managed to do but recovery is very sore!

ppeatfruit · 21/06/2020 14:31

We love Riverford Farm (dh knows the chap) ex dil used to live close by to them in Totnes, Such a lovely part of the world. I miss it (esp. as we're in lockdown in Fr.) Though it's great for organic foods here too.

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 21/06/2020 16:01

I used to get their boxes about 12years ago and loved the recipe cards they came with, bought the book when it first came out. I miss those boxes!!

PartTimeDomesticGoddess · 21/06/2020 21:57

I also have a riverford recipe book somewhere that I should dig out and revisit

B: toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel spread with flora buttery
L: roasted cauliflower with spiced veg (new potatoes, tomatoes, peas and spinach)
D: HM ramen, with cabbage, edamame beans, broccoli, sesame roasted sweet potato and Linda McCartney vegetarian duck fried with garlic, chilli and sesame oil and golden syrup which made it a bit sticky. Haven't used the duck for that before and it was declared the best ramen ever.
Also amusing as we've always called fake/vegetarian bacon facon, so naturally we had fuck ramen for dinner Grin

L H.M. .Carrot/cucumber\spring onion\lettuce juice with ryvita and tahini

I just realised that nearly All of the above is homemade ; I find that (as I get older) most of the ready made stuff is either too salty or too sweet and has all sorts of additives that I can't\or don't want to eat !!
DM had some W.Rose hot cross buns recently, there were 40 ingredients in them!!!! Shock

PartTimeDomesticGoddess · 24/06/2020 09:10

@Flippant welcome

@IJumpedAboardAPirateShip I have all 3 Bosh books and like most of the things that I've cooked from them. Mostly cooking from the healthy one at the mo, although I often reduce the qty of oil from what they say in their other ones anyway. I'm not afraid of oil by any means but am sometimes Hmm about the amount specified 😂

ppeatfruit · 24/06/2020 09:52

"Bosh" books? Can I have the details please.

It depends on the oil used though PartTime As you can probably tell we use olive oil for EVERYTHING !! I'm not good with corn oil or sunflower oil (It annoys me that the manuf. use it as a padding for their plant milks) . Though there is an almond milk that has no padding, it costs more of course. There is a rice oil that I like that W.rose sells I can't get it here.

BeneathTheMilkyTwilight · 24/06/2020 15:14

Loving all the different meal ideas. IJumped I love the sound of that tofu scramble if you had time to give any details?

My favourite tofu dish is these baked tofu bites which are amaaazing. I make a double batch every week and keep in the fridge to add to lunches etc. itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/baked-tofu-bites/

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 25/06/2020 18:01

Sounds miserable doesn’t it @ppeatfruit !! Actually yesterday was a turning point, achey jaw and still sore from the graft but I had alcohol which my mouth was fine with and can chew properly, and seem to now only have to take a painkiller when I first wake up (lack of hydration while I sleep exacerbates it I think) and the end of the day - talking doesn’t hurt as much now so def on the road to recovery

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 25/06/2020 18:01

Thankyou for asking @ppeatfruit Flowers
