I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts - I like mini series, so like Bear Brook, Broken Hearts and recently I listened to My Aunt & The Hitman on the Foul Play podcast which was excellent

Any others like this that you would recommend?

Just remembered 2 more which were great:

Unsealed: The Tylenol murders and Over my Dead Body (Tally)

Happybakers · 25/04/2023 17:00

My favorite murder is fab!

Cameraduck · 14/06/2023 21:43

I listen to lots of these - I also really like Criminal. It covers lots of different types of crime, not just horrible murders of (usually, let’s face it, ) women and children, but eg a family who’s grandma was being defrauded, an eco crime, quirks of law that allow people to either get away with things or not, short episodes, calm voice.

They walk amongst us

Duvetdweller · 14/06/2023 22:30

There’s one just gone on to BBC sounds called believe in magic - it’s unbelievable, fascinating tale

CiderWithRosy · 14/06/2023 22:36

'They walk among us'. Based on UK true crime. This is the best I've listened to by far and I've listened to loads.

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/06/2023 22:41

I'm just here for the tips, thanks

LindsayBluthFünke · 14/06/2023 22:57

The Kidnapping of Stephanie Slater on BBC Sounds. What a fantastic, formidable woman she was

MalbecMakesMeHappy · 14/06/2023 23:13

Some I've enjoyed...

Sweet Bobby
Stolen Hearts
Hoax
Pretend
To live and die in LA
Can i tell you a secret
Chameleon
Pretend
Filthy Ritual
Rabbit Hole

Morbid is such a good true crime podcast. Voices for justice is another one I really enjoy, she has a very soothing voice which I could listen to all day!

keyboardkat · 14/06/2023 23:38

True Crime Enthusiast.

Great narrator, interesting cases, and lasts longer than five minutes. British presenter, cases mostly in UK. I'm a fan!

Yyfandes · 14/06/2023 23:47

I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned Bad People. It looks not just into the what happened, but the why. And I think it's pretty respectful too. I've tried quite a few, but this is my absolute favourite.

That is also my favourite.

I listen to loads of true crime, binging on one before moving to another. Here’s a list. They are mostly one offs, but some have a few episodes of the same story in & amongst.

murder mile
twisted britain
the trial of Lucy letby
i catch killers (the host talks to detectives, criminals & victims)
one minute remaining (host talks to inmates about their crimes)
uK True Crime
detectives don’t sleep
devils in the dark
true crime enthusiast
shadow of doubt
i could murder a podcast
a very British cult
killers, cults & queens

& for something a little more lighthearted if that’s too much, ‘theres no such thing as a fish’ is great.

Shandee's Story
Fairy Meadow
The Frankston Murders
Who the hell is Hamish?
Down the Hill: The Delphi Murders
The Clearing
West Cork
Paradise

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 21/09/2023 14:26

Death in Ice Valley (about the Isdal woman)
Ladykillers (Lucy Worsley)

Lwrenagain · 21/09/2023 18:18

Hi all!

Kendal Rae / Kendal and her husband have a podcast together called Mile higher
Stephanie Harlowe / crime weekly
Bailey Sarian (bit more light hearted to watch)
Eleanor Neale
Mollie Westbrook
Detective Perspective

All of these are on YouTube but I believe Spotify has some

Xqyz · 21/09/2023 18:27

I absolutely love The Missing and have never found anything better than it despite trying loads of others. Pandora Sykes has a very soothing voice.

I can't bear the two women who do Red Handed. They are so irritating.

Teachers Pet is good and I like Kendall Rae too.

VeloVixen · 21/09/2023 18:30

Scamanda was very good
Also The Lady Vanishes.

both are multiple episode podcasts about a specific case which I really like.
