inference from another owner

Been loitering for a while but need some help now!
So I have an old (27 years old, 18 in a school, 3 with me) school horse who had a hard life but is now enjoying a happily ever after he has 3 great paces - slow, slower and stop! And I love him that way. His main use is to cuddle me and the occasional "wonder over yonder" hack.
But there is a very pushy girl at the small yard I keep my boy at who keeps trying to "motivate" him! Started out with her giving tips and telling me to "boot him on", slap his bum as we go past and say trot on ect. This annoyed me but was tolerable.
When I first got him he was very whip shy, if he could see someone with one he would shy and rear. Now he's fine, he know I'll never use one and that's fine. But the whip fear has been coming back over the last few weeks and have just discovered that she's been going into the geldings field (she has a mare) and "training" him while i'm not there. using a whip I wondered why is head collar was moving around but assumed I was being silly and not paying attention to where I put it.
I'm hopping mad and as its on the (brand new) CCTV she can't deny it.
I want to go in yelling but know its not the right way to go. How do I approach this and make sure it NEVER happens again?
I know im over protective of him but he's mine and if I accept him as he is and pamper him then that's up to me.
I could explode i'm so angry.

I've just read this thread with this look on my face. I've been around horses all my life and DH is a horse professional so I've pretty much seen it all, but this!! is a total new level.

I'm glad that your yard owner did the only thing she could do and turned her off, because if she's done it to yours, its for sure she's done it to others regardless of whether she's been captured on cctv.

I have to say that interfering busybodies are absolutely rife in the horse game, and sadder to say that they're almost always women.

Hope things have settled down for you and your boy.

My boy is very happy we've had a new girl come into the yard with her ancient mare both seem lovely, the mare is in the stable beside my boy and they rub noses and snicker to each other its so nice to watch.
I intentionally picked a small yard to try and avoid people like the other girl, just glad she's gone now!

Latecomer to the thread - so thankfully I saw the happy resolution within minutes of reading about how dreadfully your boy was treated. So glad that the bitch is gone and your boy has a new girlfriend too. Hopefully she will help him calm down.

Oh this thread has been bad for my BP. I had an old buffer too OP and he liked to slide through his retirement in the slow lane, smelling the hedges and receiving his well earned 24 hour spoiling and coddling. I would have killed her with my bare hands, without a doubt. Well done for keeping calm and getting it sorted.

The utter, white hot rage I felt when I read what she did has scared me a little.

how fucking dare she? your poor old boy needs calm and kindness after 18 years in the school. I would be furious and have no hesitation in letting her know, possibly waving a lunge whip at her.
