I know one, she’s been complaining about the disruption to children’s education pretty much nonstop since June last year.

Suddenly she’s keeping her kids at home for the last week. In case they have to isolate and that would ruin their holiday.

I wouldn’t mind if she was just honest. Basically she’s got 3 young kids and found lockdown learning a nightmare. Wanted them all back in school ASAP. I completely understand that sentiment. It’s the totally disingenuous “won’t somebody please think of the children” that gets to me.

One of our yeargroup bubbles has popped.

Their teacher came into work Thursday feeling rough and told me they thought they had covid at break time. Then, when told to go and get a test, went back into class and taught til lunch as their test wasnt til that pm.
