You don’t think the Cotswolds royalty might be the cast of “Rivals?” Actual talented actors - last instalment comes out in the 11th. * Disclaimer have not seen the Hello advert.

I can't wait for the second part of season 2! That is entirely plausible also, good call @Cismyfatarse

Hello are describing their story as "A royal world exclusive", which is odd phrasing. It's almost as though it could be someone who's not associated with the Briitsh royal family but another royal family.

The ad, as it appears on Instagram, is strange. It looks a bit like a punk fashion photo shoot. Maybe a figure with a baby bump? Appears to be outdoors.

It really doesn't give a Sussex vibe.

So is this then the reason for the sudden move to uk. An AMW move. Refuse to interview in person in the USA.

And for now wanting lodgings on the Windsor Royal estate, so they can dodge the polis, just like AMW did. I hope KC3 is a learning animal.

Yes but an elevated written interview, with her special calligraphy pen.

They can then at least compare thewriting to that in the 2019 letter.

IdaGlossop · Yesterday 18:13

Surely the very least that is required of her is to co-operate fully with thecIOPC investigation, sincevshecsetbthis hare running.

And that would involve providing details of who first brought the letter to her attention, where and when, and what happened next. If she is not prepared to do that, that should be reason enough to the removal of titles.

I'm not sure she will have to talk to the IOPC. The Met cock-up that involves her is non-compliance with GDPR, and the IOPC has batted that back to the Met to investigate.

The IOPC enquiry is specific: it's about the failure of the Met to act on the allegations of CSA by sharing the letter with police forces in other jurisdictions. That doesn't involve Meghan at all.

UncleColm · Yesterday 18:13

I don't think that is Meghan in the Hello teaser....but I could imagine there being an As Ever 16 page spread with just herself. Probably just a matter of time.

I agree it doesn't give a 'Sussex vibe', but I can't think of what other sort of royal 'vibe' it gives. Rather odd.

I definitely don't think any of the senior royals are involved. As you say it may not even be about the BRF at all. They're hyping it up and promising a 'big announcement' but I suspect it will be nothing to write home about.

Why would Meg dodging questions by FBI? She hasn't committed a crime.

AtIusvue · Yesterday 18:24

To be honest, in the video, the gait doesn’t look like Meg and she has extremely thin legs, I’d expect the wellies to be gaping at the top.

Maybe they found Kev?

IdaGlossop · Yesterday 18:24

BunnyBunbunbun · Yesterday 17:52

Why would the FBI have any interest in interviewing anyone to build up a picture of TMs' life and habits, especially from people who have no personal knowledge that he was involved in any alleged criminal activity? Do you think this is what the FBI do in response to vague allegations, seemingly in jurisdictions outside of the US and decades' old, probably beyond the statute of limitations?

As for any alleged victims - none has ever come forward. No one has thus far ever accused Thomas Markle Sr of sexually abusing her.

If Roslyn had any real evidence of CSA by Thomas Markle, especially in the US (although it's not clear that she ever made such an allegation, even if someone is trying to imply that she did, albeit without offering any evidence that she said this), then the question is why didn't she go to the FBI or whatever the appropriate authorities are in the US, rather than send a letter to the Fixated Threats Assessment Centre of the Metropolitan Police in London?

Plenty of reasons. For starters: Who stayed at the house? How old were they? How often did TMs senior stay away? Which adults visited the house? Did Meghan stay with other people while he father stayed at their home? To delve into the very questions you ask about the FTAC and Roslyn's choice to write to them.

Allegedly, the FBI do want to interview Meghan. Why do you think that might be?

If you have specialist knowledge of how police investigations are likely to be conducted in a case like this, please share it.

There may be plenty behind the scenes we don't know about

To help them build up a picture of what TMs was doing during her childhood. Loveless is dead and TMs has dementia so I would have thought she'd be a useful witness.

I'd also want to know what she said in her 2025 letter to TMSr; and, if it included the reported assertion that she knew he was a paedo, how she came to know.

On the front of a women's weekly magazine it says Meghan is saying to Charles that he can't ignore them forever...

I feel sorry for the kids. I hope it doesn't end badly.

Possibly. But interviewing is also about closing down avenues of enquiry and opening up new ones.

No but maybe the circumstances surrounding the letter are not quite as she has portrayed them 🤷‍♀️

Zero empathy for the victims. HAM are the real victims here. Whatever the outcome, this pair can never be involved with a children's charity again

You've gotta hope that children's charities would now steer clear of them both. But there she is getting a payday doing Junior Masterchef.

This is really awful. They need to reign this crap in. Yes, awful for the hamlets but unfortunately, it's their parents making

If there were any credible allegations in the letter then the Met would have notified the appropriate authorities abroad in 2019. It's only informing foreign authorities now because this has become a public matter and it wants to cover itself.

Even if there are credible allegations in the letter, they are nothing to do with Meghan and she is highly unlikely to have anything pertinent to say. Same with Thomas Markle Sr's other two children and surviving ex-wife.

If Roslyn Loveless had any credible allegations, she could have alerted the FBI or Filipino or Thai police herself. She was enterprising enough to contact the Met about, among many other things, an allegation about certain activity in other jurisdictions, so I don't see why she wouldn't have been enterprising enough to contact law enforcement in her own country or in the countries where the alleged activity took place.

I reckon Junior masterchef was signed before the latest excrement dump. However, it should be pulled. Terrible optics

What does she want from KC? She has stated herself that she doesn't need them and she was also disappointed in his treatment of her in July 🙄
