Why would they need to build up a picture of what TMs was doing during her childhood? There's no implication at all that Markle did anything to his daughters. Surely Samantha would be a more viable option if the FBI - for no reason whatsoever - wanted to build up a picture of what a random guy was doing during his daughters' childhood.

Or perhaps they could ask Doria, who would know better what TMs was doing during her daughter's childhood than his first ex-wife who lived several states away.

The statement that she was going to commute back and forth to manage As Ever does contract the idea posted that their move back to the UK was to escape the clutches of the FBI. I've never been convinced that that was the reason for it.

My tuppence worth. She knew in 2019 via this letter but most likely had inkling before. Hence she cut him off to save her image. There was a huge backlash against her when TM was very ill in the Philippines, leg amputation. She sent him a letter along with an NDA. This letter made a threat along the lines, "if you don't back off, stop leaking etc, I will tell the world you abuse little girls". I think Meg assumed (hoped) TM would pass away in Philippines but is now alive and kicking (no pun intended) and she's terrified he will reveal contents of her letter. Why would he give a toss about an NDA at this stage ?

I think if someone is lending you a house then they may just go the whole hog and say yes go ahead, just make a donation to charity though.

No fantasising is going on. I have applied my left brain to thinking of people who would help build up a picture of TMs's life and habits. That would include his second wife and three children as people who have lived with him. Interviewing only people who the police suspected of being victims of a suspect wouldn't be a very successful approach to investigative policing.

Surely the very least that is required of her is to co-operate fully with thecIOPC investigation, sincevshecsetbthis hare running.

And that would involve providing details of who first brought the letter to her attention, where and when, and what happened next. If she is not prepared to do that, that should be reason enough to the removal of titles.

I think it's extremely unlikely that you could have an entire photoshoot at someone's property without the owner being informed in advance. I'd imagine there are legal papers to be signed, which only the owner of the property could do. We don't even know they're living on one of Ian Wace's properties for sure. Like I say, I find it hard to believe he just happened to have a home suitable for a family of 4 lying around waiting for the Sussexes to move into on short notice and for a long period of time.

Why would the FBI have any interest in interviewing anyone to build up a picture of TMs' life and habits, especially from people who have no personal knowledge that he was involved in any alleged criminal activity? Do you think this is what the FBI do in response to vague allegations, seemingly in jurisdictions outside of the US and decades' old, probably beyond the statute of limitations?

As for any alleged victims - none has ever come forward. No one has thus far ever accused Thomas Markle Sr of sexually abusing her.

If Roslyn had any real evidence of CSA by Thomas Markle, especially in the US (although it's not clear that she ever made such an allegation, even if someone is trying to imply that she did, albeit without offering any evidence that she said this), then the question is why didn't she go to the FBI or whatever the appropriate authorities are in the US, rather than send a letter to the Fixated Threats Assessment Centre of the Metropolitan Police in London?

For guests, yes. But having a family of 4 live off you for free long term is a bit different.

I'm obviously no expert, but I find it hard to believe an entire camera crew could rock up on someone's property and film there without the explicit permission of the owner of that property. And obviously the estate security would know about it and would not allow them in without permission from Ian Wace.

But this is all speculative. Let's see what the 'big reveal' tomorrow is.

Of course. And there would also be legal disclaimers. You can't just turn up on someone's property and take photos with the intention of them being published in a magazine, without the owner giving their express permission.
