Personally I’d have thought the logical explanation would be rehab/ other medical facility (HIPAA) + leaving Meghan where she was settled and stable during turbulent tween/teen years.

H has nothing to offer that the RF might want. A promise to stop sabotaging royal events seems to be all Liam can offer.

But the last time there were negotiations to address this - HAM leaked the meeting to CG at the DM, then HAM PR blamed BP and everyone retreated unhappy. Thats just not true that they have said she was in jail. It’s a well known internet misinformation trope - GB News Carole Malone had to apologise on air for repeating this false claim.
