Harry won't go. I really don't think he'll ever leave the UK (my sympathies)

But as was suggested when they moved back it could be the start of the uncoupling?

I disagree. At that time back in 2019 when MM was an active and high profile working member of the RF - and QE2 was in arguably the deepest and darkest trough with her AMW issues - this may well have been a singular collaboration where both BP and MM goals were aligned - and maybe still are. Bury it, ignore it, lose it.

Maybe they all did believe and hoped it was just a malicious letter with no evidence - and maybe it was at the time but the Mets responsibly was to pass it on not lose it.

The police on day one said they were referring themselves to the IOPC for their handling of it - that hasn’t happened yet.

It’s legitimate to ask who saw this letter and when and what decisions and actions were taken. Only the IOPC will be able to answer that it seems.

Then why hasn’t she said that they knew? She likes to cast the RF in a bad light. And how do you know the IOPC are not involved yet. And have you heard, Meghan has moved on from this and is now excited to be a Masterchef judge in Australia? I have a feeling you are going to go round in circles with this again though 😆

I think it's too late to try & blame the royal family, that would have come out in the original statement

@smilesy - it doesn't stop. No evidence whatsoever.

He craves publicity and headlines just as much as his wife. Will he get it as a Middle Aged, single Dook?

"Maybe they all did believe and hoped it was just a malicious letter with no evidence"

It was just a malicious letter with no evidence. There is no crime mentioned in it. There's just unspecific hearsay, if Roslyn can even be believed.

Yes that’s what I said upthread. It would just look like backtracking and making excuses at this juncture

Yes & if this investigation was taking place the only explanation is that there was no incriminating evidence as he moved to Mexico, then the Philippines & back to the US...

The strangest one I've heard is the one about placing a tablet (? paracetamol) on a journalist's tongue - utterly bizarre (even by H's standards)

That was shocking.

It was only the other week in Nottingham that he was tickling a man's beard in a rather strange manner. I think they both feed off of each others anxiety and it causes strange, manic behaviour. A poor attempt at charisma perhaps. They so badly want to be seen as more personable that the image they've tried to present of W&C as stuffy, stiff, overly formal.

Absolutely ~ I would have thought his years in the army would have taught him better boundaries. But apparently not!

I think Harry still wants to be seen as the mischievous, fun loving cheeky chap he once was...

What's a career in the army got to do with it? I wouldnt expect that kind of behaviour from a butcher, a baker or a candlestick maker either.

If they divorce I'd imagine a path may be made for Harry or possibly not?

A path to what?

I agree with this.
He is now middle aged and times have moved on. What could be forgiven in a teenager with a pint or two under his belt ( and I'm not saying it should) is so much less acceptable from a middle aged man who ought to know better. The tablet on the tongue I think can't be swept under the carpet at all.

Yes, the old thing of trying to make yourself look good by making others look bad.

When you actually need to be making yourself look better than them.

Neither would I but as H served quite a few years in the army, that was why I said that I would have thought those years would have taught him some boundaries

Good lord no. Even post divorce. He is an absolute liability and unfortunately he will always be entwined with his father in law, brother and sister in law.

When you have grown up being able to touch other people indiscriminately with no consequences , without being castigated , then you have no idea about boundaries or consent!

Exactly this. He's so arrogant, he just assumes he'll get away with anything. To be fair, so far he has

Was just double checking but you are absolutely right... I'd imagine even post divorce there's no getting rid of the Markles, he's stuck with them for life!

He's been lucky someone hasn't punched him for invading personal space & boundaries but then he'd use that as a reason for state security....
