I don't either. I genuinely don't think she cares about anyone really apart from herself.

Someone said on an earlier thread that H&M are like naughty toddlers - they would rather get negative attention than no attention

I thought that was a very accurate summing up of their behaviour

And they certainly show no signs of maturing which, in their 40's, is a very sad state of affairs

If they divorce I'd imagine a path may be made for Harry or possibly not?

I posted this about a year ago about Meghan's need to constantly reinvent herself. For someone who talks a lot about "authenticity" she seems to have no clue who the "authentic Meghan" actually is. Just since she met Harry she adopted multiple new personas some of which conflict with past claims.

She constantly reinvents herself and contradicts earlier narratives.
... and I've probably missed a few

Nature loving Charity activist - She seemed to attract Harry by being the "boho" philanthropist, eco-activist and Diana 2.0. She convinced him that she loved camping trips to Africa and charity work. But that seemed forgotten as soon as the marriage certificate was signed and she never visited Harry's "beloved" Sentebale projects in 7 years or returned to "magical Botswana".

The royal "modernizer" - she was going to whip the RF into 21st century shape through "American" workplace practices, feminist mantras involving washing-up liquid, not following dress codes, ignoring hierarchy and using her royal status to make money - establishing the Sussex Royal website to merch her products. But after 72 appearances and ignoring any advice it all got too much that they took an extended holiday for a couple of months and never returned.

"Just an ordinary couple" - a very brief phase after they "found freedom" where they eschewed titles with "I'm Meghan", "just call me Harry" and we "chose not to have titles for our kids". It seems to have gone out of the window with the circling back to wanting traditional royal status - prince/princess titles for the kids, recent title merching, "don't call me Markle", faux royal overseas tours to Nigeria/Colombia/Australia and sending gifts from HRH Duchess Meghan Sussex". Now the revelations in a news article that she has herself announced as "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex" when she enters empty rooms

Media mogul - Meghan would be the new Oprah by producing and appearing in a whole range of programming and podcasts and becoming a billionaire. The US companies threw $millions at them although there have been few successes. "Meet me at the Lake" needs to be re-named "dead in the water" as it was announced to huge fanfare in 2023 but has no director or cast in 2026. Although I'm a bit disappointed that she didn't make the "Miss Havisham as a feminist icon" drama that was in pre-production a few years ago as it sounded hilarious. According to rumours online - Netflix has turned down the Harry and Meghan vow-renewal TV special that they were offering summer 2026

Tradwife/lady of the manor - was the persona she adopted for WLM where she tries to convince us that she is digging her own veg, making jam and sending the kids to market while hosting gracious garden parties in floaty dresses and making crap, sorry crepe packet mixes with the kids which are smeared with liquid jam and pot-pourri sprinkles.

Female founder & Super Mom - she's a business woman who is selling stuff while being supermom. Although her podcast revealed little actual business knowledge beyond trite platitudes about running her business from her kitchen while packing lunches and doing school runs. She seems to have a very strange stock control system as she never orders enough so her online shop is either sold out in minutes or she has thousands of items that nobody buys. She keeps launching "special collaborations" - jam & flowers/jam and squashed chocs - but nobody seems to be buying

Lifestyle Influencer - recently she seems to have circled back to 2015-6 to sell herself, her lifestyle and her kids on Instagram. Strangely posed curated "lifestyle" photos, merching the clothes she wears to events online. However her foray into "wellness influencing" when the retreat was a flop in Australia and she bailed on her event to watch rugby with Harry instead....

Reconcile with the royals and Cotswold Lifestyle: So with the work offers declining it’s back to royal adjacent fake royal status in the Cotswolds. With the kids packed off to school it’s time for faux royal visits and a bit of Marie Antoinette cosplay at Soho Farmhouse. Of course there are new As Ever products to merch as well.

The constant reinvention must be exhausting ... Harry has pretty much stuck with "I'm a prince - it's what I was born to do" with the exception of the very short "just call me Harry" phase.

However Meghan never addresses the conflicting narratives – she just moves on and hopes we forget what she said previously… The MSM never question her inconsistencies anyway.

, when on camera.

She comes across well, seems genuinely interested in what she’s doing, not all word salady and taking herself too seriously, not trying too hard to the point where you wince.

Maybe Cooking On TV in Australia is the reset that can permit that version of herself back.

Meg's team would have it. Let's hope they do because he could come out and say she'll threatened to put him as a child sex abuser if he didn't keep his mouth shut. What does he have to lose at this stage ?

But if he has dementia as is reported, he isn’t going to be able to do that

readbutdonotpostoften · Yesterday 13:17

@MajesticMeanderings Any publicity is good publicity.

HAM could not say nothing or state it was a private matter as that would go against their "we are not private citizens" leaks/statements following KC clarification on their return to the UK.

I think Meghan is a chameleon - she constantly adapts to her surroundings or the themes and narratives she wants to push. But it is not based on true beliefs and values - which is why she often gets caught copying and plagiarising.

Her main beliefs appear more connected to achieving wealth, fame and status.

With the announcement of the Australia gig, it’s almost like she has moved on from the recent furious surrounding her father, and on to the shallow and fluffy things that are more to her taste, though

Meghan might want to forget that appearance with Matt Lauer who was involved in a sex scandal himself where he promised to help younger women's careers in exchange for sex.

It was an acting role for her - grilling lettuce hardly requires great culinary skill - like the one she got grilling meat in a skimpy outfit for a men's magazine. She used to get a few cooking spots when she was dating/living with celebrity chef Cory Vitiello.

At this stage, I actually can't see a divorce. Harry needs the headlines / publicity / drama as much as her. Would he have that as a single Middle Aged private citizen?

Well, she may not have got the wealth, fame & status she dreamed of but one thing she has truly got is infamy

As in "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me"

Yes it is a very jarring change of subject. It's like "last week I was talking about CSA but forget that because I'm off to Aus to cook with the kids".

I know we hate the gossip sites but there was an interesting one yesterday. Apparently she is freaking out because the FBI wish to interview her about the letters - what she knew and when.

She isn’t responsible for other people’s misdeeds.

It’s an example of a version of her that is in there somewhere, which is a lot less jarring than other versions of her. In the context of cooking on TV

Australian cooking on TV is an opportunity for that version of her to make a come back.

I can’t make them make good choices obviously . But I can see why somebody might try to persuade them that this direction is one of the better ones on the table.

One more quick one , and am happy to be contradicted if I am wrong ( please do ) If M has a job with Australian Masterchef , and H& the children may join her , this doesn't necessarily say that they will be uprooted from school. I don't know how long a season of Masterchef takes to be filmed , but H&the Hamlets could join her for a holiday over Easter or Summer. DH once spent two to three months in the US for work & I managed and then joined him for the holiday. I'm not commenting on what they have signed up for , I'm just saying a one off work thing can be managed with two parents without disrupting the children. I don't know but I am trying to be fair to them.

He certainly will as his behaviour is frankly disturbing - including at official Invictus events

My pictures are under a lengthy review but they are all pictures that have appeared in the MSM.

Harry at a 2016 Invictus event tweaking a competitors nipple. (reported in the Daily Mirror)

Harry in his 20s on a drunken night out in Namibia licking a male friend's nipple

Harry as a 20 something grabbing an unimpressed Natalie Pinkham boob (the Sun)

How horrific! But don't forget - he's a Prince, and they have Droit de Seigneur over anyone they choose!

It’s like she (and Harry) don’t seem to understand that there are real world consequences for their actions and their attempts to further their victimhood. They cast aspersions on the royal family with veiled accusations of racism, lack of care when Meghan had suicidal ideations, making them unsafe by not providing security etc. and then come swanning (😎) back saying the equivalent of “it was all nothing, let’s be friends”. Harry gets involved in court cases with no merit because he has hurty feels. Now Meghan wants to cast her father as a paedophile, not because she wants to see justice for those wronged, but because it should make people “feel sorry” for her. Neither of them seem to have any clue that these are serious matters and that other people can’t just leave them behind like the Sussexes seem able to do

The strangest one I've heard is the one about placing a tablet (? paracetamol) on a journalist's tongue - utterly bizarre (even by H's standards)

Harry won't settle anywhere else but UK. This xmas is out but he will want that Sandringham walk Xmas 2027.

But my money says he won’t get it! Which is good because he doesn’t deserve any olive branches.
They’ve both been total hypocrites and totally self serving - it’s now all backfired because most people now see them as they really are. ….. what is the MN phrase? If someone shows you who they are believe them!

Don’t forget the time he slapped a lifeguard on the arse!!

Or punched the Foo Fighters drummer, or manhandled and threw several horrified young women into a swimming pool at a party.

Loathsome, super-entitled, crude, obnoxious behaviour.

And we have to listen to lectures about MH and self respect from this man.

I think the time for them to have said that the RF knew about this had passed. If they were going to claim that the RF knew and eg told them to do nothing, they should have said that straight away. Drip feeding that sort of thing doesn’t work. It comes across more as making excuses

I disagree. At that time back in 2019 when MM was an active and high profile working member of the RF - and QE2 was in arguably the deepest and darkest trough with her AMW issues - this may well have been a singular collaboration where both BP and MM goals were aligned - and maybe still are. Bury it, ignore it, lose it.

Maybe they all did believe and hoped it was just a malicious letter with no evidence - and maybe it was at the time but the Mets responsibly was to pass it on not lose it.

The police on day one said they were referring themselves to the IOPC for their handling of it - that hasn’t happened yet.

It’s legitimate to ask who saw this letter and when and what decisions and actions were taken. Only the IOPC will be able to answer that it seems.

You have absolutely no evidence, however you are most determined to blame the RF for something, anything in this.
It's quite extraordinary.
