Well, more security might actually provide them with grownups who can give them the basics of 'how to negotiate life and behave like an an adult'; but given the regularity with which they fall out with people, who'd want that gig?

Every day so far something new has been revealed that makes what should be a bloody awful but straightforward situation more confusing.

I did have to raise an eyebrow at Chris Ship on the news yesterday frantically saying it doesn't matter about MM getting the years wrong and absolutely shouldn't be something to focus on.

Always beware of “journalists” who tell you what you should or should not be thinking, rather than simply reporting the facts as they occur. Chris Ship is a propagandist.

Picoloangel · Yesterday 20:59

I can’t get my head around any of this. She either knew or she didn’t. If she did she should have reported it and if she didn’t then she’s found out v recently and was still trying to manage her laughable PR machine by pretending to pack food bank bags and having tea with Malala in “Look at me” ridiculous clothing.

This may be horrible but I really find it difficult to imagine MM and PH doing anything that isn’t entirely self serving. I’m really struggling with the coincidence of all this and even wondering if it’s some sort of set up re TM. I would put literally nothing past MM and PH. I wish they’d live their life quietly and happily and stop sabotaging everything for everyone else.

I bet a week salary , H is going to start banging on about RAVEC security before end of this week

I am prepared to bet a week's salary, my house, one of my kidneys and my last Jaffa Cake on that happening too

Thomas Jr. did not leave the material at the flat for the police to find; he physically carried the boxes into the Cebu City Police station himself, He didn't just walk into the police station alone; he brought The Sun's veteran reporter, Nick Parker, with him to film and photograph the entire drop-off.
I find all the above extremely interesting.

Stinks of set-up, doesn't it? if nothing else, he and the Sun have ruined any chance of a prosecution by their evidence tampering.

Isn't that an offence?

Yes!

When I heard the Dreadful Duo were back my heart sank - I thought “Oh no, here we go again- tedious media coverage of HaM all day, every day”.

In my most pessimistic moments I never could have imagined the level of drama and irritation that has actually ensued.

Please, make it stop, and send them back to the US.

Same here.

I am fed up with the drama - they can't even do the school run without it ending up in the news.

All the solid, boring stuff the working RF do gets drowned out.

Onebigsham · Yesterday 21:02

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · Yesterday 20:46

Now we have the SS suggesting all, over SM that the RF prevented their princess from reporting CAS.

SS seem to attribute remarkably little agency to their heroine in her own life, don't they? the poor woman seems to be at the mercy of all these people who wish her ill, with no power to direct her own life.

Anyone would think she didn’t have 6 years since fleeing on the freedom flight from the royal family to regain her agency! She’s managed to talk and talk and talk about pretty much everything else.

dreamerhereawake · Yesterday 21:02

I do think that if there is anything else to be put out there, they may as well do it now.

I have genuinely tried to read the past few threads in full before adding my ha’penny’s worth because I dislike others not reading a thread in full before posting (often as they are way off mark) but honestly it’s not possible to keep up and so apologies if thread 56 page 9+ covered this! BUT what I can’t get my head around is why would the x-wife of TM snr send a handwritten dang letter with accusations to the Met and not to BP or Frogmore tatty-ol Cottage where MM lived. I would understand x-wife sending letters to the FBI and that being typed up as a communique to the forces involved with the royals but not a handwritten letter directly to the Met. Has this been shed light on yet? Did I get my wires crossed?

Edited a spelling mistake for clarity

I don't think we'll ever get and answer to this. The letter writer, Roslyn Loveless, died in 2024. Nobody really knows why she suddenly wrote about him 44 years after they divorced. Her daughter, Samantha Markle, has said that her mother was an unstable alcoholic married to a heroin addict - so perhaps the letter read more as the drunken ramblings of a vengeful ex to a woman recently married into the rf. Possibly, the letter contained threats to sell stories which it why it was originally considered a security/harassment issue.

We don't know what conversations Meghan had with the Met about her father's ex and the letter. Perhaps she frequently made threats? Perhaps the information seemed vague and not credible - we just don't know.

The bit that I don't understand is why a woman from New Mexico addressed her letter to the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) - how did she know to address it there? Did someone help her? Also yet another handwritten letter...

As ever - more questions than answers

I said this on the last thread but I do think that something else is going to drop. There have been numerous rumours about Meghan’s alleged shenanigans before she married Harry. Regarding Archie, there was some discussion about why there were no doctors signatures on his birth announcement .

Conspiracy theories abound. I think some of them are very plausible.

readbutdonotpostoften · Yesterday 21:06

@Picoloangel She certainly knew in Dec 2025 as she wrote a letter to her father saying so - but unless Meghan produces a copy, the letter is currently missing.

He's a reporter. It is his job to report accurately.

He reported that the organisation he works for had seen the letter dated 2018.

He got it wrong, so of course he dismissed it as an unimportant detail and fingers-crossed-nobody-noticed-I-f@cked-up-to.

Would they really get away with announcing a different DOB for Archie? Doesn't the media usually get a copy of the birth certificate?

They did publish the birth certificate. Anything about Archie's birth is a conspiracy theory too far imo.

Is it a conspiracy theory that some say she used surrogates?

WRT Archie yes definitely. It's not outside the bounds of possibility she did with Lili but I don't think there is any actual evidence to support it either.

Chris Shit banging on about security. On what grounds? Meg's father may allegedly be a paodophile but unlikely to target her and her children??

It’s most implausible to believe she’d have the knowledge of the inner workings of the BRF to know where to send such a missive. Loveless was one of the few from the extended Markle clan to not try to cash in on Meghan’s fortunate marriage by giving trashy interviews to the press. It’s all very strange.

Call me a small-minded vit but if H were to appear in public soon (unlikely) I’d take great pleasure if a reporter shouted an impertinent question at him regarding this awful mess.

Yes, I know it’s not his fault or Meghan’s that TM is a sex offender, but neither was it fair on Prince William when he had to face questions about royal racism on a visit just after the Oprah interview. I don’t think H has ever had to deal with that kind of uncomfortable experience with journalists.

@Starryfifty Would you proof read for me before I write it on bonded papaer and send to BP.

Sir ,

May I respectfully suggest you stay the fuck away from the IG and enjoy a lovely birthday celebration for Camilla, with her, and whichever of your family you choose who have not bad mouthed you to the far side of fuck and then fucking back.

Yours faithfully Basilisk.

Too many fucks ? 😊

Make it an open letter - is there a site that supports open letters? - and I'll bet you it gets a million signatures before Halloween.

It would be a nice birthday present for the King.

And he he never will be held accountable. Anytime he is asked a question that doesn't suit his narrative, he gets very prickly, aggressive and basically denies he said / did what he's questioned about
