Come on, give him a chance! He gave an interview the other day! He must be exhausted.

It was recorded in September.

Gimlettt · 22/10/2026 16:54

So was Nottingham his sole diary commitment for Oct?

I find it disquieting them having had no interest in national theatre, commonwealth etc patronages. I think it's because you always hoped that by doing your best to ensure your children have a great educational experiences, lots of cultural experiences, opportunities etc that will mean they grow up to be people to have lots of interests in life and who have the ability to really enjoy life and appreciate it. It's uncomfortable to think that children can have all these things and yet still grow up to be as vacuous as that pair - everything is wasted on them.

I wish I could study their childhoods and find out where it all went wrong. I know they both had dysfunctional families and trauma from mother dying/abandoning respectively. But how does that explain the vacuousness? The complete self absorbtion, lack of self awareness and not having any interest in anything remotely worthwhile or meaningful? As discussed a few days ago, probably neither of them have ever read a book other than what was required during their education. It seems like they both had parent(s) who at least tried to give them a range of experiences, travel, the arts etc and they both had private education although I'm sure Meghan's wasn't so swanky.

Unfortunately there are many others like them . The difference is they don't in general have a global platform, fame and riches. Though many do . Look at the so called 'celebrities' these days. Barely a brain cell between them.

Looks like it.
BP/KP must be watching with increasing disbelief.
I think that the "Rival court" thing is probably correct...the posting of "engagements", pseudo royal visits, magazine interviews...how utterly, utterly deluded.

I really can't summon up much sympathy for HaM, but I do feel sorry for their kids.

I wrote on a previous thread about how I was baffled by H's blank demeanour whilst watching some ? drama therapy in Nottingham last week. Whilst M was staring with a very fixed look of interest, H looked completely blank for the whole of the performance

In contrast, I've just watched the POW visiting a junior school in Aberfan yesterday. He listened very intently as two children read pieces of work they had written about the disaster, then spoke to them about various aspects of what they had written. Later on he listened to a group of young children singing inspirational songs and spoke to their teacher and thanked the children for their performance. At no point did he ever look less than fully engaged in what was obviously a deeply moving, poignant day of remembrance.

Edited for clarification

Is this why he has to represent himself in the Sentebale case?

And will he represent himself when he sues RF when titles are removed ?

WilIiamsExtraSausage · 22/10/2026 17:16

And does this mean that those legal bills haven’t been paid?

Or does he become liable for even more of the costs?
