My only comment on the TM ( snr) allegations is this .
IF they are true - dreadful .
IF M knew but did nothing then also dreadful but I suspect she would then say she was ordered by “ someone” in the RF not to say anything .

If she maintains RF knew and did nothing, RF will absolutely have to respond. If it's untrue, there will have to be consequences for such a horrible allegation against the RF

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 23/10/2026 08:33

A source close to Meghan told The Sun: “Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018.”

I know this is typical of the duo, that they have to respond with an immediate clapback, but in this case they'd really have been better served not doing so - because people are going to read this as MM knowing all along. And given that she was presumably expecting him to walk her down the aisle and cut him off for some photos (allegedly), this doesn't ring very true as damage limitation.

fridaynightzzz · 23/10/2026 08:33

I never had an issue that she didn’t invite her dad. It’s more that she didn’t invite anyone else to be with her mum, even her mums friendship group etc.

This is covering up a heinous crime and should be investigated if she was aware her father was a paeodophile.

FancyKitten · 23/10/2026 08:38

Surely they have lawyers advising them?

Yep that was extremely odd for me too.. she invited none of Doria's side, none of the Markles, no old neighbours or friends of Dorias. It was a humongous wedding, the sky was the limit with guest numbers...
Compared to the Wales wedding, Catherine invited all of Bucklebury & her controversial uncle Gary also... Meghan has no family barr Doria, no family friends or neighbours it was very weird yet the Clooneys were there...

I remember watching Glenys Kinnock on Wogan (I think Wogan not Parkinson), and he was asking her about the best way to wash leeks. I'm assuming this was around the time she was entering into her political career so surely there were enough more interesting things to ask her about. The only other interview I remember seeing was a black woman (maybe Grace Jones but maybe someone else) saying her grandmother had been a slave. My mind was blown.
I've remembered these from around the time I was 10-14.
Wogan was a mixed bag!

Unpopular opinion but I did not like Terry Wogan. He was patronising, condescending and very pleased with himself. He revealed an interesting side to his character when he opened Children In Need by singing The Floral Dance. Except that he wasn’t concentrating and started to sing the wrong bit, the orchestra tried to keep up and make amends but it was a mess. Terry flashed an angry look, blamed the orchestra and told them to start again when, of course, he started to sing the right words. Always looked at him differently after that.

Sounds like the friend is insinuating Meghan knew.

I would be swiftly dumping that friend (never an issue for Meg) it's a damning statement

Ironic to say this on this thread where posters kver and over agin have been deciding her for not reconnecting with her Dad, calling her all sorts of names.

Waiting for facts? 99% of the comments on here is gossip and speculation.

Who waited for facts about why she stopped seeing her Dad? Noone on here did. When he was selling stories about her not supporting him or seeing him when his health decline? Noone...just posting away how horrible she was for not going to see her Dad. Not paying for his treatment and so on.

The issue for me is the same as with AMW - when did M know and when did she report it.

We all heard M herself on OW make factually incorrect statements. We watched her disrespectful curtsey on Netflix. H has given interviews, written a book etc. We have observed H&Ms behaviour, not the tabloid version, but in how they choose to present themselves to the public on instagram, in interviews etc.

These are not the same as a breaking news story where we have 3 people giving different versions and a “friend” implying M knew in 2018.

I just assume that all TV “personalities “ are egomaniac narcissists, whatever - or in fact, in spite of, their popular image.

It’s such a crazy, superficial, false and competitive world- how could they be otherwise? And we know that the BBC has frequently prioritised keeping “the talent” happy over any moral scruples.

Starryfifty · 23/10/2026 08:45

It's damning for HAM either way. The Markle / Ragland crew are so unbelievably dysfunctional.

Meanwhile, can we talk about William doing Graham Norton?! Can't wait to watch it. He's ageing very well. (William, not GN)

I am looking forward to watching this too.

We will never know the truth. If HAM follow advice, I'm sure they will be advised to keep quiet and let the law deal with it. Unfortunately for Meg, her entire family are so toxic, they'll no doubt throw it out there that she knew all along

Exactly thought the same. Have H&M ever called out Andrew & Sarah Ferguson & how is their relationship?

AtIusvue · 23/10/2026 08:56

Awful news about Markle Snr. I can’t imagine how Samantha thinks it’s planted though. You can’t fake evidence like that.

It’s impact on Harry n Meg will be huge:

  • She can’t be wafting about looking into the middle distance to sell teapots and chocolate bars, this is extremely serious and they need to acknowledge this. There’s no putting in place ‘Never explain. Never explain’ now. They will have to put an official statement out.
  • Whoever spoke to the press on Megs behalf did her no favours. Implying she may have known is utterly disgusting. If she did suspect something then she should have contacted authorities. Isn’t it a crime not to report?
  • Puts into perspective their behaviour and how they’ve treated the RF over minor issues and perceived slights. The only reason to flee from family and talk against them…..would be for serious issues like this.
  • The kids are now at school, that their GF has CSA images…..that will have an huge impact. I know Harry and Will had to deal with their fair share of stuff while they were at school, but this is nothing to a GF (even if estranged) being, well you know what.
  • Questions will at some point arise if Meg suspected anything, what she was exposed to while living alone with her father during childhood.

i feel sympathy for them but their next steps need to be the correct ones. They can’t ignore this away,

Could things get any worse for the HAMs?

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · 23/10/2026 08:58

There’s quite a lot to unpick

Did Meghan know and when did she know
Did she do anything with this information once she knew

If the ‘friend’ is speaking the truth, did she do anything about it ?

My heart goes out to the poor children going through this abuse.

Unfortunately for MM, Samantha & TM Jnr will be out making a buck or two. Just when she is trying to promote her Christmas range.

This, they should have run this past a solicitor first and not been so fast to issue a statement. This hasn't made it better for her.
