Well we have had the attempted upstaging of the Welsh senate …..now the Oman state visit….we all hope that whatever advisors that they still have will not allow any thing to interfere with Aberfan! 🤞

He takes his ‘beast’ car along with him on visits now. Even his summertime day visit to the (very safe) Isle of Man, for which he took the plane, saw the car shipped over on the Irish Sea ferry for the day. This car is more than a secure vehicle - it is also a fully functioning ambulance. I thought that was interesting. I hope he’s ok - we need the stability right now.

Ah, God love him 😞

LookOutLookOutTomCruiseIsAbout · 22/10/2026 10:11

Seems like Harry has just about the same amount of compassion and respect for his ailing father as he had for his ailing grandparents. It does come across as spectacularly selfish and cruel.

diddl · 22/10/2026 10:13

I wonder if that's just a precaution or if things are quite dire.

If H&M had returned because of KC's health I wonder if they would have broadcast that?

You'd hope that they would have kept themselves to themselves if tht was the case though.

Hard to think of someone with so much, who has made so many mis steps one after the other in recent times.

I think what Harry had was the benefit of accident of birth and consequent access to some very talented PR professionals who gave him a solid and likeable persona, and effectively managed to sell the British public a complete lemon.

Had he been born into a "normal" family his true character would have been obvious to all who encountered him - including (quite possibly given his reported drug use) the police.

(Chelsy's family were apparently more than just a little relieved when she ended their relationship. Imagine having Harry as an in-law...)

About the woman who was food packing & I think more or less told M to get on with it?

Kate had a classic response when a woman in New York told her much the same in a similar situation some years ago. I reckon that would have been my response too! Meghan of course probably thought it was an insult to her royal duchessy status.

Harry's constant attention seeking and attacks on the RF show how selfish and cruel he is. He didn't care about TLQ, and he doesn't care about KC. He should have been brought up to behave like Anne, instead he will be a constant thorn in William's side. Its such a shame that the press keep reporting on everything he says and does, hopefully the clicks will slow down and the press will stop shining a light on every stupid thing he says. I don't understand why any charity would want him involved. He's lazy and attention seeking.

We’re certainly an eclectic mix. It drives the sussex squad mad because they can’t understand it.

I'm not interested in the squad who constantly show themselves up, but just love eclectic mixes ... you get to learn so much, and the light which gets shone on personal views can sometimes lead to necessary adjustments

Eagle eyed person on X has spotted that William and Catherine’s official pre-state dinner photo was taken at Frogmore house.

Personally I don’t think W&C are petty or waste their days looking for ways to subtly put the boot in.

But I bet offence was taken anyway.

In fact, thinking about it, the pre-Christmas photo released last year was also taken in the footwell of the same staircase. I wonder if W&C separate work from home by using Frogmore to store their official clothes, thus the dresser/valet can prepare everything without entering their private space. They can say goodnight to the children, hand over to Granny M or Nanny, go to Frogmore and do hair, make up, official photos and then head to work.

I also do believe the story that when they asked for Windsor Castle to live at and The Queen said something along the lines of “Hmm, well I suppose you could have Frogmore” they jumped at it thinking they were getting Frogmore House. I doubt either of them knew of the existence of Frogmore cottage.
There must have been quite the melt down when they realised the reality.

A lot of the press do seem to be gunning for him/them.

Apart from the clickbait it provides they probably feel they can now afford to after the ANL case catastrophe, diddl

I can't quite see that Harry will risk suing again - though who knows? - so the possible consequences may seem different now

readbutdonotpostoften · 22/10/2026 11:09

The King's health issues and what cancer he is being treated for are quite correctly private, but from the way it was diagnosed and subsequent treatment protocol is extremely similar to the cancer my father had, at a similar age to him. The treatment was very debilitating and just as he recovered from one treatment, it was time for the next, so he did look poorly and aged for quite a while. As soon as it was finished though he recovered to being his old self and looking healthy once again. I hope it is the same for KC. Of course my father did not have to do RF engagements or deal with an errant son!

I do find it sad that KC reign should be one of happiness and enjoyment (I am sure there are quite a lot of this though), he recovered from the death of his mother, his grandmother and his ex wife. Married the woman he has always loved. I expect there were no thoughts in the last 10 years of so of his mother being alive, one of his sons causing so many problems and stress, which will no doubt have a lasting affect on KC personal life and his role as King.
Edited for missing words!

Tom Sykes went to Aberfan and shook hands with Charles, Camilla and William. He was very respectful about the day and how it was conducted, but he did say up close Charles looked frail. He seems to have a source who knows about Charles’ condition and is claiming the treatment is going extremely well, but it will have been gruelling for a man in his late seventies. As with the PoW, even when cancer is eradicated, the side effects of the treatment can long reaching.

I admire the King for turning out in what was reportedly a freezing cold wet day and making the visit a memorable and meaningful one for the people of Aberfan, when he may have been feeing pretty off colour himself.

Tom Sykes has made a feature of commenting on KC3's health.

He says he was removed from the royal rotation when he revealed that the King's condition was terminal.
If that is the case, I think he deserved what he got; even royalty deserves medical privacy. There are arrangements in place if a monarch is not capable of functioning

Harry’s eyes, lips, mouth and jaw shape seem to have changed. Most odd.

Surely it's more likely to be what his expression does to them, AutumnCrow?

These days he often looks just plain tortured, either angry or as if he's just about to be angry and it can't be a happy way to live

I didn't know this, Autumn, thanks for sharing. I'm glad he's being cared for as he's not only KC3 but also a bit of a poppet as a grandpa - Louis pestering to sit on his lap was a game changer for me!

Starryfifty · 22/10/2026 11:24

H certainly isn't taking his father's health into consideration at all. He's so unbelievably horrible

Did either take the late queen or Phillips health into consideration? Or mr markles for that matter!
neither seems to have any form of compassion or empathy.

I think it’s something of a chronic nature that should see him surviving for quite a few years yet.
I really hope so - not just for him but for William and Catherine, and the children.
Another ten years should see the children at university or nearly finished school in Louis’ case.
Plus W&C are excellent P&P o W.
What happens to the Duchy if the Duke of Cornwall is under 18?

Please no R words….

Very true. It's almost psychopathic

I think that would make sense anyway for the monarch's car, frail health or not. If they were attacked or had a medical episode the car could get them to hospital straight away. Aren't they all bullet proof as well?

Seasidewalker · 22/10/2026 11:37

That's a good point, George is likely to have to step up earlier than William had to I hope he can still be allowed to live as normal a life as it's possible as William was (accepting that this normal is different!)

He looks much older than his years. I'm pushing 54 so 42 is very young to me. My brother was born same year as Harry and leads a terrible lifestyle yet looks much better than H !!

He’s “getting better” according to Harry in that interview, as if he has any inside knowledge and even if he did how dare he speak about it in an interview, and it’s not the first time he’s done that either “I don’t know how much longer my father has left” or words to that effect, he is an utter disgrace, he must NEVER be allowed to return in any form.
