Well we have had the attempted upstaging of the Welsh senate …..now the Oman state visit….we all hope that whatever advisors that they still have will not allow any thing to interfere with Aberfan! 🤞

Tom Sykes went to Aberfan and shook hands with Charles, Camilla and William. He was very respectful about the day and how it was conducted, but he did say up close Charles looked frail. He seems to have a source who knows about Charles’ condition and is claiming the treatment is going extremely well, but it will have been gruelling for a man in his late seventies. As with the PoW, even when cancer is eradicated, the side effects of the treatment can long reaching.

I admire the King for turning out in what was reportedly a freezing cold wet day and making the visit a memorable and meaningful one for the people of Aberfan, when he may have been feeing pretty off colour himself.

Although I've always said that if Diana had lived, I think she'd have done similar to H...moved to the US, married an actor/singer/tech billionaire.
Difference being, Diana really had that star value and charm, and she did a lot for charities. Her support for AIDS victims was really so important at the time.

So now an innocent member of the public volunteering their time to help the less fortunate has been dragged into the media frenzy that surrounds HAM.

Yes I think that's unfortunate.

I think it's perhaps being used a a reason to republish & keep ridiculing H&M.

I think so. And while we all admire this lady for just being “normal” with them, I don’t suppose she welcomes the attention at all.

IceBrownie · 22/10/2026 09:42

Just came across this. I suspect MM would've treated her differently had she known.

Interesting, thanks for that. KC isn't helped by Harry's continuing performance as the most wronged man in history.

It certainly looks like it’s beginning to dawn on him in that photo…

That photo - can you believe he's only 42? 😯 He looks like he's had to work night shifts and sleep rough, not dabble with charities and live in castles and mansions with a team of servants.

A lot of the press do seem to be gunning for him/them.

You get the sense of something building, not just on XTwitter and YouTube but in the MSM, and that all the things we’ve been talking about for 50+ threads about HaM, their intriguing finances and their dodgy connections are finally starting to coalesce as newspaper articles.

Maybe the Palace(s) finally stopped actively protecting Harry with its heavy PR machinery. Maybe they’ve left him floundering on his own and are letting the press do what they like with him, no longer calling in any favours to save him from his own stupidity and weaknesses.

Who knows what she would have done.
However, there's a massive difference between Harry and his mother, in that despite her issues with her marriage to Charles, and the Morton book which was actually her own feelings, she still retained respect for the institution of the royal family.
After all, her son would be king one day. She would never have trashed the whole system, or tried to undermine it by attempting to set up her own "court", or used it for commercial gain.

As soon as H was in charge of his own pr, he's shown who he truly is.
Obviously, family like W ,have always known what he's like.
He's an embarrassment. Wrt looking older than he is..
That'll be the booze and drugs 🤷‍♀️

Exactly. She'd be horrified.

Exactly. She would have backed and supported William to the hilt. She was a Monarchist and would have been horrified by Harry's disloyalty. He should have been Harry's wingman.

I think KC3 looks very frail. But he's nearly 80, has cancer and is undergoing treatment.
Add in HaMs shenanigans, and it's not surprising 😕

Great article, except for "Welcome home, Harry." Hopefully, that was drenched in sarcasm.

They are playing a dangerous game with the media. On the one have it’s oxygen to Meghan (I mean As Ever) they need the promotion, the buzz. On the other hand they worry about privacy, security. They need to constantly work at their profile so that they don’t actually risk becoming private citizens.

But what about Harry’s battles with the press? It’s like a game of cat & mouse with the DM. MM, say what like about her, has definitely been a victim of “build em up & knock em down” Remember them on the cover of Time? On the eve of worldwide glory… Well, that didn’t quite happen!

Of course Harry should have been William's wingman, that's what must be so dreadful for Charles, to know that Harry has caused such a huge rift that William won't have his brother by his side when the time comes. He must be immensely relieved that William married a woman like Catherine.

I'm sure that Diana would have thought that Harry would be his brother's lifetime supporter too. She would have been devastated by what Harry has done. Yet somehow, in his twisted mind, Harry must believe she would approve of his behaviour.

He takes his ‘beast’ car along with him on visits now. Even his summertime day visit to the (very safe) Isle of Man, for which he took the plane, saw the car shipped over on the Irish Sea ferry for the day. This car is more than a secure vehicle - it is also a fully functioning ambulance. I thought that was interesting. I hope he’s ok - we need the stability right now.

Do you think Putin’s got the original, along with Trump, and we get the malfunctioning clones?

Hard to think of someone with so much, who has made so many mis steps one after the other in recent times.

Helen Teasdale is a woman after my own heart - down to earth and the perfect foil for Markle.

I bet Teasdale has become a poster girl for the royal flunkies who had been obliged to be polite and tolerate Harry's appalling choice of a wife for fear or losing their jobs.

Ms Teasdale's normal attire, made Meghan's queen of Sheba get up look quite embarrassing IMO.

A friend saw KC in Scotland during the summer and commented that he looked very unwell and quite frail .
