Well we have had the attempted upstaging of the Welsh senate …..now the Oman state visit….we all hope that whatever advisors that they still have will not allow any thing to interfere with Aberfan! 🤞

Of course he would have been told when it was going to come out, he certainly could have asked for it to be delayed or published prior to the visit.

I totally agree with this post, but wonder if there will ever be a time when W feels compelled to offer a reconciliation due to public pressure or something? I mean if they were just anonymous aristocracy I imagine W wouldn’t speak a word to him ever again, and who could blame him, but if public mood shifts in favour of a brother reunion, will they do an Oasis?

How could W possibly reconcile? HAM have caused him, his wife so much hurt / damage and they cannot be trusted not to repeat same behaviour. Harry does not want reconciliation. He wants exactly the same status as his brother. No less

I was listening to Neil Sean again while waiting for a bus. Neil casually mentioned that Harry plans to represent himself when Sentebale goes to court!!

I am hoping that someone will live blog the court case so that we can have a designated thread. 😁

What Meghan did:

Were those Jammy Dodgers on that plate?

I suppose W might go through a formal, surface reconciliation if he only had himself to consider. But he has C. and the children to think about, and I doubt he wants either H or M around his children.

Vespanest · 20/10/2026 18:01

Harry is now at the point of pure gas lighting with his let the past go, the guy who hasn't got over a sausage. I just can't fathom how he believes talking about his relationships will prove to the royal family that he's done talking about (trashing) his family. Charles must be dreading the next call.

IMHO, the HaM return was because their opportunities in California had dried up because they LOST money in their professional relationships.

HaM's advocates within Netflix such as Bela Bejaria are being fired because Hollywood is a business and employees that invest in projects that lose money will be fired. And those fired for betting on HaM will have long memories as many do not have rich relatives to turn to as a last resort.

To come back to the UK and pretend it was a choice....is a choice. And to antagonise KC3, their only supporter, by overshadowing his State Visit...again is quite the choice.

Perhaps someone should send HaM a video of KC3 being heckled (rather politely, I might add!) and how soon after Andrew's inviolable lease was revoked and Andrew's birthright titles were parked. H should take a long, hard look at his godfather's predicament.

KC3's next acceptance of a call may result in an outcome that H likely does not want.

I can’t help thinking that there is a stench of eau de panic lingering around Harry today.

Just today, hacnocteequitamus?

For me this has had desperation written all over it for a while, but as for what H&M will do to get out of the mess they've made, there are princes elsewhere leading relatively modest lives and there's no reason they couldn't too

It might even help the security situation this fool carries on about, and while a modest life could well cost him Meghan I'm not convinced that would be any bad thing any more

Thank you @jeffgoldblum for the new thread, just catching up on the posts at the end of the previous one and this.

I am not surprised there was a Harry interview today (well published today) - there was always going to be something to try and upstage the Omani visit. My opinion is HAM's "people" could have agreed to the interview but insisted it was not to be released today (they are very fond of legal contracts of course!) or they agreed to Harry doing the interview and let slip they would like is released today.

Stating the obvious but Harry really doesn't get the situation at all does he, wants reconciliation but continues to try and upstage the RF - he is a (continuing) fool.

diddl · 20/10/2026 17:22

He and his wife are increasingly desperate, as everything they have done has failed, including the Grand Return.

Can't help thinking things must be desperate or him to specifically say he wasn't referring to William.

It would have been hilarious if the interviewer had then said “Do you mean Meghan then?

BigWillyLittleTodger · 20/10/2026 18:17

There is absolutely no way he didn’t know, and personally I think he arranged for the interview to come out today, they make journalists sign three page contracts, they blame the palace for the Meredith Maines meeting at the restaurant leak when CG released the details that it was actually them, they are a sly and conniving couple, nothing like this is by chance or coincidence.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 20/10/2026 18:19

Thank you @jeffgoldblum by the way for the new thread!

Can someone in the PR field explain if it's true that he/they would really have had no control over when that article was sent out?

It's not clearcut in this case. It's likely that the intellectual property of the interview is GQ's and therefore theirs to do with as they choose. The social media team will have scheduled the release of the interview in a way that works with their other content. So the drafter of the statement, presumably Liam Maguire, is theoretically right when he says H had no control over the release.

However, a PR person's job is not only to understand how the media operates but also see the bigger picture, in this case checking publicised royal engagements and using rapport built up with the publication to request that they avoid releasing on the first day of a high profile state visit. There's no guarantee the publication would agree because the content is theirs, but it would be a perfectly reasonable request so I would expect GQ to have been willing to agree it. Wasn't diary coordination the key action from the Overseas Club pow-wow?

Which brings me to my final point. The last diary clash was less than a week ago. The Welsh Parliament opening date and Oman state visit date were both pub available weeks in advance and yet HaM chose to time their Nottingham 'engagement' to coincide with the former and didn't talk to GQ about avoiding the latter. GQ are a professional outfit so I would expect them to have told Maguire when the interview would go live so he was geared up to scan and respond to the inevitable coverage.

The evidence on balance points to HaM seeking to compete with the royals. In other words, it's bollocks that they had no control over the release date.

That potentially means no solicitor is happy to take him on rather than him choosing to.

DontLiveByTheClouds · 20/10/2026 18:28

Apparently the comment about someone not wanting to reconcile wasn't about William, says the Sussex spokesperson.

MissMoneyFairy · 20/10/2026 18:29

It's a shame and a lost opportunity that the interviewer didn't ask him who he was referring to, then we'd all be in no doubt.

Jammy Dodgers. So classy. The biscuit of choice when my DD and god-daughter had sleepovers in primary school.

Clean break is the only way. William, don't reconcile!
