Well we have had the attempted upstaging of the Welsh senate …..now the Oman state visit….we all hope that whatever advisors that they still have will not allow any thing to interfere with Aberfan! 🤞

I have to say the Kings jellycat type squishies are lovely. I’m not sure though why Meghan thought a pot of jam would be in the same league as them. Could she really not see the cuteness or humour in the other ones?

Seajaye · 21/10/2026 06:12

Unfortunately Harry is a seriously deluded man, married to an egotistical wonan. Neither is able to accept that their own conduct , their outspoken criticisms and their publicity seeking stunts are making matters worse, in terms of their relationship with the WRF, not better. I don't know who their advisors are, but they aren't getting good advice on how to rebuild the damage in the relationship.

‘ang on a mo. Did Arry say “Life’s too short?”

After all the recent “Life’s too short comments? here?

🤣

Ok. I've just read the sky news article. This is a direct quote:

"Describing his relationship with the royals, Harry said: "Some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out."

He went on: "With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile - that's the key point.

"Scars stick around forever. But what your perception is, and what your mindset is to those things that have happened, letting go of the past, that's something that I would encourage everybody to do"

What absolute word salad!

It struck me after I read your post that perhaps he meant it’s the MIGS who don’t want it to work out.

He seems to blame them for loads of things.

After today I think we can safely say that “Project Thaw” is a busted flush.

Yup. From Charles III’s state dinner speech, after praising William and the Omani crown prince’s friendship:

“But this much we do know: our successors will rely on trusted friends. They will need allies prepared to work together across difference; to defend peace and international law; to marry innovation with stewardship; and to think not merely about the next year, but about generations to come.”

I think it’s safe to say that Harry has fucked it.

King Charles heaps praise on Prince William after bombshell Prince Harry interview

The King spoke proudly about William as he hosted Sultan Haitham bin Tarik al Said at the start of his state visit

@AutumnCrowSeesDensePeople thank you for that. After looking forward to yesterday for the last couple of months I fell asleep last night half an hour before the banquet started.

The worse H goes on, the better W looks…

Absolutely. Someone should tell Harry we are all bored to death hearing him moaning on. He should shut up, buy a shed and spend the next five years in it, tinkering with model trains or making Airfix models like other tedious men, instead of inflicting himself on everyone else.

@AutumnCrowSeesDensePeople - that is a very significant speech. Excellent 👌🏼

Or the press, or let’s face it, US! We’d be terribly bored without their shenanigans.

Williaminagingerwig · 21/10/2026 06:44

Could there be a greater contrast between the two brothers now? On the same day that William is discussing the future of a region in conflict and under threat with the Crown Prince of Oman, Harry is moaning about his hurt feelings. Yet again.

OrdinaryGingerBloke · 21/10/2026 06:46

Small wave. I’ve missed 2.5 threads. Partly because I’ve been helping child with huge school project, mainly in motivation and time management. But also, I got a bit fed up with the bickering.

Just catching up now on yesterday’s hoo hah. In terms of a PR failure stealing headlines with another mega whinge has to be up there. How do they not see that continuing to complain is doing them no favours.

Change behaviour or bugger off 🤷‍♀️

LookOutLookOutTomCruiseIsAbout · 21/10/2026 06:47

I really don’t agree with those who think Charles is weak and allowing Harry to push him around. He’s seen him what, three times in the last few years, all at Harry’s instigation, pointedly didn’t mention him on the US trip, didn’t get him invited to anything, hasn’t invited him to anything or even seen him since they came back, just issued the pointed “they’re nothing to do with me” statement, and now his response to Harry’s incessant “LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME” is to tell everyone publicly how proud he is of William. He couldn’t be much clearer. I know the website thing annoys people but I think the ‘meh, they’re not important enough to make a fuss over, we’re too busy with actual royalling to bother with it’ is very effective. Plus their page is a very clear account of what happened, including their statements at the time, lest there be any suggestion that they were forced to leave.

Charles is right, these relationships are crucial to the UK, and it is important for all of us that William has friends and allies in countries like Jordan and Oman.

Whoopie cushion?

It's quite extraordinary, think about how they could have been at tonight's banquet, instead their jealousy and greed put them where they are.

Deliciously like karma imo.

Absolutely, I agree. Harry is in a situation of his choice. The Monarchy continues, unaffected..

It could be that it isn’t in the advisors’ best interests to organise a real, proper reconciliation, because they’re all getting exactly what they want (money, favours, positioning) the way things are.

Maybe they’re all playing the Spiteful Little C_ for everything he’s got.

It's also about stirring the pot and antagonising the Head of State. Harry is a willing fool.

Horses7 · 21/10/2026 07:09

Observations

  • Harry’s word salad is laughable - and the number of times he feels he has to tell everyone he’s a prince….almost as though he thinks he might not be soon……
  • H has run out of rope, money, status - of course he wants to reconcile!
  • Harry’s spokesperson (we all know it’s M behind this) trying to tell us that H didn’t mean W - honest!!
  • Impressive State Banquet but KC looked quite frail. It was a long day for someone who imo is more ill than we’ve been led to believe (hope I’m wrong).
  • Dog toy isn’t as good as Jellycat - we are a jellycat family and know these things!
  • M has played H like a fiddle unfortunately she hasn’t had a music lesson so everything goes wrong, wrong, wrong.
  • If reconciliation is so vital why haven’t they reconciled with Daddy Markle? Of course H doesn’t know him because they have NEVER met!

It's also about stirring the pot and antagonising the Head of State. Harry is a willing fool.

It is worrying that at a time when the UK’s Head of State needs to be projecting stability and strength more than ever, his own son and royal duke is carrying on like a saboteur.

Talking of which, I liked the colours worn by Camilla and Catherine, blue and yellow, and wonder if there was maybe some symbolism of unity there? 🇺🇦🇪🇺(The men seem to be given set-piece ceremonial uniforms?)

Harshreality · 21/10/2026 07:26

Probably been said before, but how exactly would H see a reconciliation playing out? No member of the RF can trust that a word spoken or action taken in the presence of HAM would not be used for future ammunition against them? Or twisted? HAM have proven they cannot be discreet and any meeting with W would just be regurgitated for attention at some future point.

By "reconciliation" Harry means "reinstate me as a senior working royal and pretend the last 7 years haven't happened and forget all our lies and manipulation"
