Gosh there is nothing left to work out! Harry and his wife made it publicly and abundantly clear they dislike the majority of their respective families, reserving special vitriol for Camilla, PW and C.

H can apologise ( he wont) but W is allowed to accept an apology but reserve the right to remain at a frosty distance.

I think the weird stuffed jam thingy is a dog toy. Looks like it's sitting on the corner of a dog bed on a wood floor. I've seen similar here; 'brand name' items turned into stuffed dog toys. They tend to be a 'freebie' at functions given by the brands. My son has one that's a brand name tequila bottle stuffed toy. You can also find them at places that have storefronts at their factories or in tourist areas. What her point is in doing one I have no idea.

I will admit that I was sort of 'introduced' to the Aberfan disaster by The Crown. I'd heard of it in passing but that episode really brought it home. I also did some reading about it after that episode. I simply cannot imagine the horror and devastation. That anyone could possibly treat that date as a way to get attention or to aggrandize themselves would be beyond belief. But then along comes HaM and a lot of my beliefs of "X would never do Y, no one would do something like that" have been blown to perdition.

And I have to admit I loved that Catherine wore a tiara that was so closely associated with Diana. I don't quite believe it was intentional, but then again.......

Catherine has worn that tiara more quite a lot. Not going to lie, I was kind of hoping she’d pull another one out of the closet for last night! But that’s not a criticism, just a purely selfish wish to see some different bling.

TBF, it appears that the interview was filmed last month (though debate around who had control over what day it was released 🤷‍♀️). I think I said earlier, I don’t like that phrase - it’s often used by those that have been the ones to cause an issue/hurt in the first place.

The Buckingham Palace jellycat rip-off key ring thingies are rather lovely, and less than half the price of the jellycats. My late teen/early twenties DDs have them.

If you watched the royal wedding did you notice that at one stage on the carriage ride the carriage went over an unexpected bump and she blurted out Fuck. I think she even held on to her Tiara as well. It was funny and a bit shocking at the same time

I think: just look at the Markle clan - a tricksy, mouthy, vengeful lot - and I’m not convinced even Doria is the saint she’s sometimes portrayed as on here. She’s more discreet, certainly.

When M met H she was estranged from most of her own family and - hey presto! Within a short time so was H from his. Coincidence? I don’t think so. His dim and entitled, resentful and arrogant but I think M is toxic to everyone she meets.

Me too, Badvoc. Some years ago there was a controversial West end play “Charles III”, which looked forward to KC’s reign and in which H eloped with a punk-y, alternative girl.

They say truth is stranger than fiction, and clearly no-one foresaw the crazy drama which has actually come to pass! It’s honestly like a soap opera.
