As ever, the bloody halfwit manages to make money for everyone else with her ridiculous antics.

Bet the squad is seething.

Couldn’t have picked a better cause this time, though 😊

I love this!! Talk about a plan backfiring! That & also the fact that the vile attacks on the poor vicars has finally pushed the Sussex Squad & their harassment to the forefront of the mainstream media.
I'm so sorry the vicars had to go through that abuse

I’ve never heard of dog Dr Raj before he popped up in my YouTube but I listened to the second half of his YouTube that I had linked this morning driving to work. I found him very straightforward and sensible and his thinking aligned with my entirely unacademically informed views. Eg describing excessive self indulgent lying in the floor crying as emotionally incontinent and encouraging what he described as an unfashionable view that suppression is a normal part of life and often for the best.
Advice for free in the last five minutes. All sensible stuff.

The problem with Thursday is, people will probably turn up to have a nosey and HAM will assume it's adoration. Assume Chris shit will be there . Tom Sykes said he's going to assess the crowd situation 😂

I have always enjoyed listening to him. He's very practical and talks a lot of sense. He has commented on PH before. He said everyone, regardless of status/ trauma needs to find "their place in the world ". Harry never has and has no interest in self improvement

The Leprosy Mission calendar actually looks like a decent enough advent calendar in terms of the design. There’s a proper nativity scene from Bethlehem with vivid colours and shapes - so suitable in terms of design for young children.

Meghan’s intended luxury ‘market’ doesn’t really make sense to me, because rich ladies-who-lunch don’t eat chocolate, certainly not Compartés chocolate, every day. That’s not their desired image. OK, so it’s an ’aspirational’ item for her fans, but are more than about fifty of them really going to shell out $148 for one? Doubt it. The squad are probably expecting freebies anyway. It’s certainly not an advent calendar for children.

I am watching the Dr Raj Persaud YouTube linked to earlier. He is not impressed with the grief course.

He's already said he is going to try and get his money back.

He managed 40mins of a 90min video before finding it stressful.

It's confusing and doesn't offer any advice that isn't free elsewhere.

He's drawn attention to the fact that using Harry as a case study is a poor move as if this is advice for a 'normal' people then he has not lived anything close to a regular life.

The advice is at times confusing and complex and would be unhelpful because of the way it is presented.

He also pointed out that Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor is a lab based scientist and not a clinician working frontline with clients and so there is a lack of pragmatism.

So it's not relevant for the most part, much of the advice that could help is available for free elsewhere, and Harry was a poor choice! (I can't watch all of it as I have to work but I am just over half way through. I can't see his opinion improving!)

A good summing up I didn’t have energy for.

He took a dim view of the ten day depression episode as has been discussed upthread. In other areas he was complimentary of Harry and felt the co-presenter hadn’t listened and responded to some of the comments he had made.

CEO of the Leprosy Mission has managed a splendid dig at the Sussexes and the squad while appearing to thank them. Tacitly saying 'we know it was the squad and we are giving you, Harry and Meghan, the benefit of the doubt as Diana supported us and Harry still does." It's almost an invitation to them to disown the attacks the squad made.

Amanda Norman, Chief Executive of The Leprosy Mission Shop, said, “We were delighted to see Rev Daniel French champion the Real Advent Calendar and, most importantly, highlight the lives of people affected by leprosy.

“It has been incredibly encouraging to see people respond with such kindness and to hear from supporters as far away as the US who have contacted us because they want to stand alongside people affected by this cruel disease.”

Norman added that French’s comments were intended to highlight the need for compassion and generosity at Christmas, rather than being a dig at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

“We know the Sussexes are very charity-minded and have supported our work. The late Diana, Princess of Wales, was Patron of The Leprosy Mission until her untimely death in 1997, and my Leprosy Mission colleagues have spoken with Prince Harry about our work, for which he has been most supportive," she said.

Plus a little dig at MM's advent calendar

“We are grateful to Rev Daniel for raising the plight of people affected by leprosy at a time when it can be easy to focus on luxury and celebrity."

That statement is a masterpiece.

I wonder. Harry’s been parading about quite a bit without attracting much interest.

I know that calling Chris Ship ‘Chris Shit’ is incredibly juvenile. I know that.

But it’s also very funnyGrin

I received my 2 advent calendars, I’m very pleased with them, it’s so nice to actually have something that represents the real Christmas story, particularly after having so much trouble finding Christmas cards that featured the nativity in major outlets last year.

He's actually quite angry about it as in his opinion, it's extremely irresponsible. I have GAD. Generalised anxiety disorder. I have had a few awful episodes. Harry is utterly clueless. Anything for a few quid and headlines.

Yes & it comes with a nativity book also. I love the way in the article it says the Vicar will recieve a free calendar.. it's the little things 😊
Luxury for me will always be Lindt.. luxury for others will be artisan Belgian chocolates.. I don't think anyone would ever associate Meghan with "luxury" chocolates.. a jam calender would have fit better with her brand in an already saturated chocolate advent calendar market...

I would guess that you, like most of us on here, have to go to work, have caring responsibilities, housework, cooking, shopping etc etc. We just have to get on with it.
Like @jeffgoldblum's ppd, she had no-one to look after the baby, or put a wash on, or cook a meal.
His privilege is showing.

I've just had a look at the Leprosy Mission intending to either donate or buy something - they have a Four Candles Christmas card 😆someone's got a sense of humour there.

No, it kind of suggests they spend most of their time clawing each others eyes out 🤔
The photos really make it seem like they don’t get on well. Maybe they’re affected by the supercharged atmosphere in their home, what kids wouldn’t be?

Possibly, and I’m speculating, Archie may have noticed that Lili is the golden child and there’s jealousy issues there.

Of course it’s possible that at home the kids are treated with absolute equality and it’s only on Instagram and in public comment that the favouritism towards Lili becomes apparent. Archie at least would be too young at the moment to see his mother’s Instagram and wonder why he features so much less than his sister.

MyPurpleHeart · Today 10:40

As heartless as this may sound, I really hope one day some interviewer or newspaper calls out PH when he starts banging on about Diana and says to him 'are you STILL making money off that'?

Its been 30 years, come on now. Do we have to mark every 5 year anniversary, every birthday, every Christmas without her? Yes she died in awful circumstances and left behind two children but millions of women have died and left behind young families. How are they worth any less?

BigWillyLittleTodger · Today 10:40

Why would anyone apart from the squad want Meghan’s dated 90’s McMansion in advent calendar form? It’s just so bizarre, her house is hardly of historical interest and isn’t even the Hallmark style New England house you see on the Christmas movie channel!

I think it's very telling that Archie got a name that has no link (that we know of to the family) second name self explanatory Harrison , son of Harry..
Lili however was named very intentionally Lilibet Diana that's quite an intended name in comparison to Archie Harrison...
They were extremely keen to keep the royal name lineage with Lili but not Archie...⁹

HAM tend to get bored/restless very easily. They quit projects very quickly and move to something else. Global philanthropy grift, twerking celebrities, clinging to OW then Kardashian's, etc. I think it's the same with parenting. They try the "hands on" approach for a week or 2 then tire of it then hand over all responsibility to Nannies. I have met parents like this. The hard work is too overwhelming/ boring then kids dumped with babysitters / family members

You didn't even read the article you linked to did you? You have no idea what he was suspended for. Hint: it had nothing to do with his qualifications, his credentials, his informed opinion or his ability as a psychiatrist.

Plagiarism.

I did read it, thank you.

Apparently a photo of Archie and Lilli "at peace with each other" makes Harry emotional. At peace with each other in nature. On the beach. Holding hands. Walking. So there we have it.

Edited

"At peace with each other."

That's such an odd way to talk about a 5 and 7 year old. I don't even have kids but I know 'at peace' is not a term I'd use to talk about children that age! I really do wonder how much time this 'full time dad' spends with his children, because he doesn't talk like someone who's in touch with the realities of life with young kids.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · Today 10:51

Strictly amateur psychology here, but PH seems to feel that if he doesn't constantly remind everyone about Diana and that he's her son, she'll be forgotten and he'll have no emotional anchor in his life to make it meaningful.

The same with all their press releases and leaks and 'sources say' about their activities and their plans and their children - if they don't remind the public they exist, who are they really?
