I am watching the Dr Raj Persaud YouTube linked to earlier. He is not impressed with the grief course.

He's already said he is going to try and get his money back.

He managed 40mins of a 90min video before finding it stressful.

It's confusing and doesn't offer any advice that isn't free elsewhere.

He's drawn attention to the fact that using Harry as a case study is a poor move as if this is advice for a 'normal' people then he has not lived anything close to a regular life.

The advice is at times confusing and complex and would be unhelpful because of the way it is presented.

He also pointed out that Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor is a lab based scientist and not a clinician working frontline with clients and so there is a lack of pragmatism.

So it's not relevant for the most part, much of the advice that could help is available for free elsewhere, and Harry was a poor choice! (I can't watch all of it as I have to work but I am just over half way through. I can't see his opinion improving!)

Is it just me or is that worded oddly?

Who describes children like that?

I don’t think I’ve heard anyone or read anyone saying that their little children were at peace with eachother. Ever.

No, it kind of suggests they spend most of their time clawing each others eyes out 🤔
The photos really make it seem like they don’t get on well. Maybe they’re affected by the supercharged atmosphere in their home, what kids wouldn’t be?

My MP works really hard and is currently focusing on local environmental issues. Perhaps Harry could do some similar?

I'd love to see him grappling with local problems like sorting out bin collection or getting people to recycle more. Not just lecturing them, getting actual results.

Delay… 🙄
How many times does he have to be told No before it penetrates his thick skull?

I notice (haven't read the link) that he's apparently not bothered that MPs are deemed to need protection - just about how it might affect him. He's got a monomania about security.

No wonder KC isn't taking his calls.

OneJustPinkAnt · Today 09:12

Well he needs to sack his tone deaf aides for a start (if they really exist).
That article is just embarrassing.

Oh lord, not the story of the prodigal son again! Don’t these writers understand the actual parable?! It’s about regret, remorse, contrition and penitence on the part of the prodigal prior to all the redemption and forgiveness and the slap-up tea.

Harry is still all about anger, stubborn irascibility and bitterness. In fact he seems to be quite unpleasantly unhinged. George McCorquodale really took one for the team with derring aplomb at the rugby.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · Today 09:18

In fact he seems to be quite unpleasantly unhinged.

And getting worse, probably because a) their arrival wasn't greeted with the cheering crowds and hosannas they expected and b) he's not getting his way with the security.

It sounds as though they're dead, perhaps as the result of a surfeit of jam.

I have said it before but I strongly believe HAM do not have a genuine hands on relationship with their children. At peace with each other? Nonsensical comment. WTF does it mean ?

That was 18 years ago. He did a three month suspension and presumably resumed his career and has been OK ever since.

Thanks again @Cismyfatarse.

Someone else hasn't read or understood the parable of the prodigal son.

It drives me mad, @bluegreygreen. And these people are supposed to be trained journalists?! The Bible is, I think, one of the best known, highest selling books on the planet. The Parable of the Prodigal is one of the best known stories from one of its best known books. It’s inexcusably poor writing for a Times journalist to get it so wrong.

But maybe I’m just in a mood today. We have noisy scaffolders next door. I ain’t happy.

I'd say they thought as they were away 6 years out of sight out of mind, the public have short memories, Andrew is deeply despised taking the spotlight & Spencer's book will give a catapult to "hit the ground running" talking about grief & Diana the second they hit down on British soil..
I honestly think they thought the public had short memories

Yes, the one who made a dumb mistake that has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on his professional qualifications or informed opinions, however.

I remember Raj Persaud from back in the day on This Morning when Richard and Judy were the presenters. He came across as very likeable - great sense of humour.

I know! I was Lady Shocked of Shockedsville when it happened. And this is the first time I’ve heard his name since.

The thing is, “dumb mistake” and “informed opinions” don’t go together in the same sentence.

You didn't even read the article you linked to did you? You have no idea what he was suspended for. Hint: it had nothing to do with his qualifications, his credentials, his informed opinion or his ability as a psychiatrist.

As ever, the bloody halfwit manages to make money for everyone else with her ridiculous antics.
Couldn’t have picked a better cause this time, though 😊
