Well here’s some unexpected news and IMO a direct challenge not only to the polis of the mighty river Thames but also to Charles Rex, who presumably allowed access to Andrew’s house at Sandringham? And a challenge to the Crown Estate re Royal Lodge?

Charles never gets a day off from the briefings and the problems, does he?

Exclusive: Andrew takes police to court over Epstein files arrest
Former duke’s judicial review challenges search warrants that allowed detectives to raid homes at Sandringham and Royal Lodge

Why this relates to the HaM PR machine is that, to date, they have kept pretty quiet about Andrew. Will they or won’t they stay quiet over this challenge to Charles’s authority? Will Harry fail to resist temptation and finally misstep? Why am I awake wondering this stuff?!

OK, here's the memorable Scobie tweet:

This is fun by Olivia Beeson:

Prince Harry has reportedly told Meghan to 'get a job'

I love the idea that in the morning M is doing a couple of business calls. If it's 9am here, it's 1am in California. I know she has form for not respecting people's working hours, but seriously?

WilliamsExtraSausage · 05/10/2026 05:55

But Meghan does have a job. She is trying (and I mean this sincerely) to make a go of a business venture while Harry is spaffing his money up against a wall in legal fees. I do believe Meghan was the driving force behind the Spotify/Netflix blah blah deals. She is a misguided entrepreneur with no business sense but Harry is a complete freeloader.

Why doesn’t HE get a job? And buying awards so that he can be rude about people in his speech isn’t a job.

That is interesting - does it say what prompted the application for judicial review? I hope he doesn’t slither away because some fool forgot to put the date on the form.

I don’t think KC3 or the Crown Estates would have much to do with it, would they? The police wouldn’t have needed permission from anyone if they had a warrant.

I agree. Of the two of them Meghan is the one who is out there trying different things to make money. Harry thinks his very existence is all that he needs to contribute.

Of course it's probably a made up article.

Or Harry beginning to position himself for the divorce PR battle.

This chimes with an article that was out a few months ago about Andrew insisting he was still HRH to his staff because he has "royal blood". He genuinely believes he has done nothing wrong, which I find totally incredible. The self delusion he has.

Is that the argument made in the JR - that the search shouldn’t have happened because he is royal? Surely not 🤦‍♀️

There was an article in one of the papers yesterday saying that he's being made welcome by the 'Turnip Toffs' of Norfolk and I think there was one a couple of weeks ago saying he's got a new girlfriend. Far from being ostracised, the posh folks of Norfolk are rallying round and making sure he isn't. He really is insufferable and his friends are ensuring he stays that way.

I haven't read the article but that sort of reasoning, royal=above the law is exactly how he thinks.

There are always enablers for people like Andrew. It's how they get away with it for so long, and it's why he continues to believe that he is special simply because of who his mum was.

I would have thought the “ turnip toffs” would be more keen to keep in with the Wales family .

I couldn't agree more. At least Meghan has tried to do the hostess show, and make the spread, and sell candles. Harry hasn't done anything productive or meaningful in 7 years.

I think if Ravec has firmly said no then Charles could pay the private security bill for them. This would answer Harry's claim that he had no choice of the family he was born into and give HaM more spending money. It would need to be made clear that it was completely out of Charles' own personal money but it would silence HAM on a couple of fronts.

I don't think Charles is particularly bothered about 'silencing' them. Their whining about 'security' doesn't really impact on him. Besides, they'll always find something to whine about.

I agree with @BunnyBunbunbun above, in that I doubt Charles is paying for anything to do with the Sussexes other than maybe a trust fund for the children's education. I'd be very surprised if he's actually picking up their bills. Why should he?

I ( admittedly a bit grudgingly!) agree . I think Harry is of the opinion that his mere name is enough . His contribution is delivering speeches about his mother plus telling people what to do , then do the opposite himself.
I read that he is no longer with Better Up ?

We don't think he's paying their bills atm. But earlier in the thread we were discussing HAM's finances and whether the reason for their hasty return is due to the rather large legal bills H has coming his way following the loss of the ANL case and whether he's building up to going cap in hand to KCIII.
