Plus she is more interested in her pets, books and her garden than her frocks.
Much like myself.

Further condition - H steps down from Invictus after next year's event.

Maybe someone can find him a job that's within his capabilities, will keep him occupied, and keep him out of the public eye.

twinklystar23 · 04/10/2026 14:05

Blimey no consideration for 5he impact on the little hamlets. So in a few short weeks
Whisked away from their school on the US no preparation in the form of endings with their friends .

Moved from the only home and country they've known to move to another country another temporary home and a new whoop.

Moved in two days from new school to another they are getting older now and 2puld likely have questions.

In yet another school, particularly difficult for A with other children who have likely built friendship circles.

Poor kids, how unsettling, confusing and disorientating. Quite impactful on their emotional wellbeing.

Well, that would be a challenge. There's a toilet brush factory in Wigan looking for packers.

New school not new whoop!

JuniperJumper · 04/10/2026 14:08

Brilliant @cheezncrackers

So, if I were KC I would ~

(1) Offer to pay the nannie's salary as I think it's highly likely that she is the most reliable & consistent presence in A & L's lives

(2) Send a lovely crate of toys for A&L as they need some joy in their lives

(3) Offer to have a wonderful children's playground built when H&M have found their forever home in the Cotswolds, but only on the condition that A & L's school friends are allowed to come for regular play dates

(4) Send H&M a large hamper of Highgrove Organic Produce with price tags attached so that M can learn what quality, upmarket packaging and reasonable price tags are

(5) Send H&M an autographed copy of 'The Old Man of Lochnagar' so, if H&M are ever skint, they can flog it on EBay

Starryfifty · 04/10/2026 14:08

The problem is, HAM's biggest fear is becoming irrelevant. They'll go broke before they go quietly

PullTheBricksDown · 04/10/2026 14:11

JuniperJumper · 04/10/2026 12:07

I like Neil Sean and enjoy looking at the various places he broadcasts from. But I honestly don't believe that H would have been able to speak to George. I am sure Eton/Royal Protection Officers have a very stringent vetting system for phone calls

Same and this comes across as absolute nonsense. As if anyone who is not a parent and/or on an approved list of callers would be able to ring up Eton and get put through to any pupil, let alone the future king. Don't know how he'd think that would be credible.

Whoopiedooo · 04/10/2026 14:12

There are no conditions they would keep to though, and penalties would just be
more grist for the grift.
I don't know whether a divorced Harry might be supportable with conditions but I am certain that H&M cannot.

Whoopiedooo · 04/10/2026 14:13

Not sure why autocarrot made the dramatic paragraphing there, but I don't have Edit.

LadyUrsula · 04/10/2026 12:00

She'd be like Fergie: unable to style herself Duchess any more.

Thankfully that won’t matter to Meghan as she said to Oprah

To underscore that Archie's title in itself wasn't the key issue, Meghan went on to explain that her own royal title didn't define her, saying "the most important title I’ll ever have is mom."
“All the grandeur surrounding this stuff is an attachment I don’t personally have.” She continued: “I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a Duchess—I’ve always still just been Meghan, right? I’ve been clear on who I am, independent of all that stuff, and the most important title I’ll ever have is mom. I know that.”

Whoopiedooo · 04/10/2026 14:19

Is that like "Just Harry"?

cheezncrackers · 04/10/2026 14:21

Fortunately for Archie, age 7 is the start of prep school, so although many of the DC will have likely moved up from the pre-prep (which is appears both schools have, because Lilibet is enrolled in them), there will be other new children at the start of Y3.

I thought something like counting trees on someone's estate somewhere and say he's working on an environmental project.

As long as they didn't go above twenty.

Litter picking? that's socially useful, gets him out of the house and provides fresh air and exercise.

twinklystar23 · 04/10/2026 14:29

Just musing how much different their lives would have been if they had not sold out the family. Though it may have made a difference if theyd remained in the UK continuing with their patronages they would likely have been pretty much front and centre during KC and POW cancer diagnoses.
Can you imagine the tabloid coverage, doesn't bear thinking about. They would have been widely feted as royal Heroes ! Saving the house of Windsor!
Whilst he LoS would always dominate it undoubtedly would have cemented them as integral to the monarchy PR now and for the future.
Tabloids would have been salivating for photo ops of W H& M and all five kids on an outing. Or HAMS doing the big family day with all 5 children to help out W whilst he supports K. Support in taking on some of the Kings visits to lighten the load, off Camilla. Meeting with HoS etc.
Even if they had gone to the US and not taken the route they have they could still have re- entered as working royals or taken on some representation HIHO.

I agree that whatever Charles does, and he will surely help them out in some capacity, there will have to be some serious conditions attached and penalties if they don't comply i.e. a new 'Sandringham' type agreement.

Off the top of my head, if I were him, I'd say they have to move back to the UK, the Montecito house has to go to pay their debts (which he will not get involved in paying), and he'll provide them with a modest residence within a secure setting like Windsor Great Park (ETA: or maybe not, since this is where W&C live!). He'd probably agree to pay the kids' school fees and provide a stipend for them to live on, as he does with AMW, but if he does that then they have to agree to no more attacks on the family - no interviews, no documentaries, no books and no more leaks to the media. In other words, they return to the fold and are given a reasonable standard of living in return for their silence and their good behaviour. Either that, or they're on their own.

Edited

I wonder if this is what Charles did, they agreed, and have since returned to the UK apace, reneged on the agreement and demanded more?

I would gladly pay someone £10 a week to clean out our hamsters cage. The little fella enjoys nibbling fingers so I would add an extra £2 on for 'danger money'

Sorry ! I’ve been on the hilarious Tom cruise thread!! 😁
if I were Charles……I’d tell them both to bugger off!
harry is a 40 year old man now , it’s about time he sorted himself out and Charles should not need to baby him anymore.

I applaud anyone making decent, democratically-focused points about the importance of transparency around the apparatus of governance of the people.

Unfortunately I see all too many of these writers and broadcasters slide into the transition of using their research to not only make a few quid (fair enough) but also to join in with unevidenced mud slinging and invasions of personal privacy. For example, Norman Baker starting that stupid rumour in the Daily Mail, based on a misleading and incomplete metric, that William is lazy. That was just self-aggrandisement on Baker’s part. Lownie has made missteps with alleged personal, sensitive data both in its publication and its style of presentation.

I think Shauna is on a slippery slope and needs to think about what position she is adopting based on the ‘evidence’ of Spencer’s shit book, and why she is really doing that.

Just my opinion though. Others are, as ever, available on the board!

I don’t recognise the names you’ve mentioned apart from Lownie and it my belief that the man is an absolute and utter stinky smelly bum toad.

I don't know. It suits KC and RF NOT having HAM in UK, I would imagine. It's what, one month and already absolute chaos
