Do you believe Charles Spencer that Charles Windsor said to him during a phone call "we'll forget her soon enough."

The Harrods /Ritz owning Fayeds regularly sexually abused employees.

Is that enough evidence?

I covered that in my previous post on this.
Respectfully, it doesn't mean they would sack a driver. It's speculation. You don't know , you're simply speculating based on information that's come to light many years after the car crash.

No one knows, of course, but it is a reasonable assumption that if Al Fayed was sexually abusing his female staff, then he is likely to have seen all his staff as his possessions to order about as he chose and to punish them in some way if they didn’t do as he asked. So it’s not much of a stretch to think that any of his staff would have felt it difficult to say no to him or members of his family 🤷‍♀️

He is leading on 11 o-clock news. 30 years on. He is a spectacular twat. I do not believe for one moment this isnt driven by financial considerations. Keeping memories back, but it is not a threat (until he is on divorce six.) Does he believe in monarchy? As if he can seriously debate this, whilst remaining an earl. JFC LISTENING TO HIM - his kids, this is his laast word. I cannot believe the bollocks he is spouting.

It would be helpful perhaps if you could tell us what evidence you have for why long established bully, briber and dishonest businessman Mohammed al Fayed (all issues known in 1997) wouldn’t have sacked an employee who refused to do what he said?

I also note the other bodyguard working for Diana and Dodi on their trip gave evidence at the Uk inquest and said:

“During a conversation just before the couple left the Ritz, Dodi told him the plan had been approved by his father. The bodyguard told the hearing his employer's son said: "It's OK, it's been okayed by MF. It's been okayed by my father."
Wingfield added: "I have total recall because, when Dodi said that, I remember that feeling that I got, because any further argument is closed because once Mr Fayed was mentioned in any capacity like that, in that organisation, argument was pointless."

I am talking about the interview with Laura K btw.

He did not go to Paris as he was in South Africa
I believe him an Richard Kay backs him with memories from that time

I suspect there is a lot of partisan smearing going on here, of Charles Spencer

I think what has been said about Charles Spencer is based on verifiable facts actually - his own past interviews, letters and actions/omissions. There is a lot more unpleasantness out there that hasn’t been mentioned - his divorce proceedings from his first wife were very illuminating about his character.

What an hypocrite! As an aristocrat,he is part of that very privileged male world, where the son gets everything and the girls are married off to be brood mares and secure alliances with other similar families and consolidate their wealth. He now speaks as if he is not part of this world.

No, and even if he thought along those lines I would say he is too well bred to actually say it, and to the brother? Who on earth would say something like that?Sounds like made-up bollocks and a moneygrabbing exercise, clearly inspired by his twat of a nephew Harry. No doubt lots of chat shows, book signings and interviews to follow. Doesn't this guy have enough money (by inheritance, not by actual work or intelligence, again like Harry)?

“Well bred” ugh. His brother wasn’t well bred enough to decline to fraternize with convicted pedophiles was he? Not a good enough chap to avoid finding himself in a situation where his mummy paid off a woman who seemed to have strong evidence that he raped her…

Why do some people honestly seem to believe that being a certain class makes one somehow morally superior?

TooBigForMyBoots · 20/09/2026 23:02

OneLilacHedgehog · 20/09/2026 21:02

It's not actually relevant though to whether the kind did say to Charles Spencer, we will forget her soon enough.
And yes I think he did.

That's the crux of it. You think/believe King Brian said it. Other people don't.🤷‍♀️

Back at the time I proposed that the national hysteria around Diana's death was symptomatic of the unresolved grief of 100s of thousands of individuals.

Your numerous threads arguing a case that cannot be proven makes me think you are one of those people @OneLilacHedgehog.

I am sorry for your personal losses. Thanks

BlueDillieDillie · 20/09/2026 23:06

They are a weird and cruel family, Charles Spencer has been divorced 3 times and accused of abuse of one of his wives.
His Father terrorised his 2nd wife, Diana's mother until she left.
Charles is a cousin to Duke of Marlborough, known in his younger days as Jamie Blandford, frequently in trouble for drinking and driving and taking drugs.
One feels sorry for the Princes, and William's attempt to keep a close grip on life and make sure it doesn't come unravelled.
Harry seems to be a typical impetuous Spencer.

They sexually abused, assaulted, groomed and trafficked employees. From shop floor staff to high management.

What makes you think they respected the drivers they employed?

Helenbelena · 20/09/2026 23:13

I believe Charles Spencer

Trutherwoke · 20/09/2026 23:31

Well it's not like the Windsors are very normal with Andrews abuse of minors, the queen and family covering it, Charles very weird friend with many pedophiles including Saville, Catherine being accused of racism, Willow and Rose affair, Charles and Camilla relationship and the way they treated Diana, Philip and the queen mother relationship with prior nazism (more than wearing a Nazi outfit in a outfit, real Nazism) etc... And that's just a start.

I don't know what your comment was. The only legal comments I responded to were ones that were incorrect.

You are obviously having a personal go, so I am out

You are obviously not aware that @Serenster is an actual lawyer!
I did warn you about assuming that other posters on mn don’t have knowledge in multiple areas and using legal jargon to bolster your argument was foolish.

No, I don’t believe the pompous toff that is Charles Spencer. There are too many inconsistencies, he’s most certainly a hypocrite, and I choose to believe the women who have their stories to tell about his allegedly horrible behaviour.

There’s also a reason why his adult daughters don’t speak to him.

Also, I personally think that a man who has overlapped so many relationships must be pretty accustomed to fibbing.

The arguments for transforming the monarchy are political and worthy of better consideration than ‘Ooh, Willow [sic] and Rose’ ffs. Some bouffant berk with terrible veneers and his drug addled nephew both steeped in hierarchical privileges are not exactly the cutting edge of republican leadership.

It’s not often that an alcoholic, serial womaniser and cruel husband who is using his dead sisters legacy to feather his own nest , gets such fervent support from the apparently moral women of mn who have spent years vilifying Charles because he was in love with and had an affair with Camilla!

None of that explains or justifies the reason he would inflict more pain on his nephews at this moment in time.

It doesn't justify doing it publicly. He could have done it privately.

I don't think he answered that question honestly.

Sound like publicist spin.

I'm not a royalist but there is something deeply distasteful about doing this now. It's quite vile to do this to a man battling cancer in such a public facing role.

CS said in the interview with LK today that W & H would “not be surprised” by the claims he made about their father.

And I’m sorry that KC has cancer obviously but serious illness doesn’t absolve you from being accountable for your past actions I’m
afraid.

And isn’t it obvious why CS wrote this book fhs? If someone in power who had caused serious harm to my sibling said that they would “forget them soon enough”; I would be doing everything in my power to make sure there was an accurate record out there accessible for everyone to read.

Indeed….I wonder what the reason can be…🤔
