This was at an event this week. But the photo just made me gasp. It looks like the elderly woman is being used as a prop, rather than being treated in a dignified way.

Have herself introduced by her title into a room with only 1 other person in it? Claim being Royal made her suicidal but then insist on Royal titles for her children?

I do lurk around this board fairly frequently - I don't often comment though as I'm usually on catch up and miles behind everyone 😂

But that's why I was clear about what I said, I really dislike people spouting bullshit even if they're on my "side".

Some things are open to subjective interpretation, which is fine obviously, but when people try and manipulate a factual truth or just outright lie, I find it really bloody annoying. And actually, that particularly goes for people who I share views with, because twisting the truth or making shit up means the viewpoint loses credibility.

This is another reason why I don't often comment on heated debates, I get irritated with the lack of good faith all too easily 🫣

I don't think Catherine is 'bland' but even if she was so what? There are worse things someone in her position can be than 'bland'. And the extreme reaction she gets from certain corners of the internet, like the one where you got this photo, would seem to belie the 'bland' monikor. Why all that obsessive venom for someone who is merely dull?

Catherine is in a pretty good position with the public. I doubt she’d want the intensity of the ‘love’ for Diana. It ended her life in the end.

I know the one you mean and it’s a shameful site. I think the posters there are just dim and besotted with the HAMs, but the editor is a malicious and unscrupulous character who knowingly twists situations and images to manipulate them.
