Seconded.

Thirded! This is such a tame corner of the internet, it isn't against MN rules and you give fair warning

Ah thanks.
This is the one I liked. A bargain at £3,500!

Why do they call Meghan "alliterate"?

murasaki · 08/09/2026 23:12

Megan Markle, alliterative words.

SqueakyDinosaur · 08/09/2026 23:13

Alliteration is a device in writing where the same sound opens several words in a row, hence MM.

WillysExtraSausage · 08/09/2026 23:14

Archie may be 7 and going into Year 3, but the prep schools go up to Year 8. Even 7 year olds are harsh. My son changed location and schools at age 7 and it took him until Year 5 to settle, and we’d only moved 150 miles away!

He looks very strange in the Tower Studios one.

I thought so too, his face looks really bloated (fillers?) and I wonder if he has a weave on the top of his head, he really looks very strange indeed !

Hope everyone who celebrated Labor Day weekend had a good one.

To be honest, I was underwhelmed by KC3's letter, when I got around to reading it.

HaM have crafted various grifters getaways to look like the genuine article because they know that media/social media is more concerned with clicks/views than investigating and present the truth. And there have been zero consequences beyond re-stating what was known 6 years ago.

It is far past time to deliver consequences to HaM who are so tone deaf and cheeky as to clapback more than once! HaM need to be taken off the website and stripped of the HRHs, with no notice to HaM. And no matter how many grandchildren want to see grandpa articles are briefed to the whatsapp group, a public apology, including specific apologies to the UK government for all the time-wasting temper tantrums and UK people who were unfairly and disgracefully disparaged must be a prerequisite to the next meeting with KC3.

Unless KC3 extends himself to contain his reckless second son, H will create chaos for KC3's monarchy. And I have limited sympathy for KC3 the enabler.

Mood stabilisers and anti-psychotics can cause weight gain.

I think he looks like someone who doesn't take care of himself. He looks so much older than 41. He did say on his last podcast, he goes to the gym for his MH when he can but I really don't think it's regular

Starryfifty · 08/09/2026 23:56

I would say so 😂

I agree with much of what you're saying but with regard to KC3's statement, I think you may feel underwhelmed by it partly because you're taking it at face value and not reading between the lines.

For example, to take your point about "grifter getaways', the statement says that any
questions from organisations about the reception to be given to the Sussexes:

"particularly where recourse to public funds may be required, should be directed to Buckingham Palace".

I can guarantee that none of the 100 organisations that this statement was sent to will be contacting BP. Why? Palace statements are always impeccably polite, so I'll translate what that actually means:

"In the highly likely event that the parasitic pair attempt to gain public funding to cover the cost of their clothing, transport, hospitality, entertainment and all else, the answer is no fucking chance. They are not working royals."

HRH - they've already lost their use of HRH, it's in abeyance. I do understand they flaunted this rule whilst in the US but now they are back over here, it won't be tolerated, it'll simply be removed.

Palace website - the King is most likely reluctant to remove them because of his grandchildren. But if they carry on behaving like dickheads, that could happen in the near future too.

Apology - whilst it would be nice, I think an apology is highly unlikely. They appear to have zero self awareness.

Chaos for the monarchy - I don't see this happening. Six years ago they were popular and had credibilty. They've systematically destroyed all of that. Creating further chaos whilst in the UK will backfire on them because charitities and other organisations won't want their brand image to be tarnished by them. It would just be yet another case of them shooting themselves in the foot.

I think he's had it cut shorter and is combing it all forwards

It seems to give his face a really squat appearance - or has he gained weight recently? As his cheeks looked puffed up and his eyes smaller

It could also be that these are from Harry's "approved" photographers who always seem to photograph more hair than the "live" shots (compare the 2 from Australia)

His neckline is never tidy. I hate that in any man.

Respectfully, I disagree.

HaM violated the agreement by flaunting their titles in the US, however for all of their years in California, UK media give HaM far more coverage than the US. After their first year in the US, HaM essentially sank into oblivion, overshadowed by sports stars (Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Lebon James) and entertainment stars (Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Tom Cruise, etc). And these stars are struggling for air against the Trump presidential reality show. IMHO, the geography of the violation does not matter as the impact is felt in the UK and to a lesser extent the Commonwealth. The HRHs needed to be stripped.

As for the website, the grandchildren excuse does not wash for a Head of State. It is not a personal website, it is information pertinent to KC3's political status as King. The only people there should be the people who represent the King...it is not personal, it is business. HaM should be deleted.

Finally, the apology. When your little one does something wrong you make them apologise on the spot regardless of whether they are actually sorry or not. It is a teaching moment. KC3 has a long history of covering up for H versus making H face the consequences of his actions. KC3 indulged H with a meeting hours after H insulted KC3's judiciary! IMHO, that meeting squashed the white-pill story by Charlotte Griffith and moreover helped embolden H to rashly relocate to the UK leading to this ongoing fiasco.

HaM's briefing that they have not seen KC3 and expected to be invited to tea shows how desparate they are to be in his presence to get the royal glitter to flog their commercial projects. KC3 can set a demand before they set foot in his presence again...an in-person recorded apology to the UK government and the UK nation.

Again, this is simply my opinion based on what we have seen in print. I do think the time for talk regarding HaM is over. I think it is time for well-earned consequences.

canklesmctacotits · 09/09/2026 03:47

Ugggghhhh. Harry wanting to have had Charles’s letter include the words “public figures” is because RAVEC = the Executive Committed for the protection of Royalty AND PUBLIC FIGURES.

He wanted the king to interfere in the security decision by telling RAVEC Harry and Meghan fall under their remit, while simaltaneously complaining that Charles and his staff are interfering, and also that Charles could just say the word and he’d get what William’s got. Make it make sense.

TheTwerkingDuchessOfMonteshitshow · 09/09/2026 04:56

The latest clapback is the perfect example of two people who simply never know when to shut up.
We knew the letter would knock the stuffing out of them; we didn’t need them to prove just how badly. But once again, their own stupidity has done the job for everyone else, leaving them looking utterly ridiculous and, quite frankly, a laughing stock.

Please do. You put warnings up.
If people are too easily ‘offended’ then they really shouldn’t open links - and if they do that’s on them. Wingeing about it afterwards is just attention seeking.
Ignore them - do it for the rest of us GreenDress! Please!!
Do it for the Northerners!

I agree with all of this apart from the 'wingeing'. One poster has said they didn't like the language but that's only an observation and not attention seeking surely? I'm not in a good place so took heed of the warning and scrolled on by!

BBC reporting just now on a Mirror article that HAM have not been in touch with KC since their return.

Guest385 · 09/09/2026 06:26

Public figures now is it, oh and as expected wanted to be recognised as the kings son. Cause we obviously didn’t know that.

Poppinpoppinpopcorn · 09/09/2026 06:50

Public figures. Most of the people in the UK don't see them as public figures, they are just private citizens. Get used to it Harry, you made your bed.

It was a joke, apparently. Macron and KC had been mostly conversing in French, but there was some humorous banter in both languages, it would seem. Macron thought KC calling it the "Kent Embroidery" was funny.

Call me a sentimental old fool, but I think there’s a bit of a bromance there. These 2 men have never cultivated an alpha male image (unlike Mr Orange) and, also unlike him, are both highly cultivated and sophisticated. I’m sure it was a joke on KC’s part and that Macron would have taken it as such.
