According to the Mail (look, I read it so you don't have to, it's a charitable act, honest) and Google, the cost of their flight "home" is likely to have been between $130-295k. What an absolute waste of money. Global philanthropists my arse.

I know - no gumption at all after telling us to reduce our CO2 output. Really really dumb!

For something like the aircraft in the image up thread, Long range biz jet in the Gulfstream class flying Cali-Brum single sector that figure is credible, probably the upper end thereof.

Who's paying?

Edit: FWIW there's also no sign of that aircraft type or similar inbound to Birmingham today on the popular tracking site -so it's either been "cloaked" or some details in the story aren't accurate.

It will be interesting to see how long they hold on to the Montecito house. I wouldn't be surprised to see it being quietly put on the market a few months from now.

Is this what buttering up the Horners got for them? They will have sourced a free ride from somewhere I'm betting. I'm also thinking that they've got cheap or even free accommodation at least short term. Probably going to frame any move from that home as being 'driven out by the press'. Just my guesses.

So Eton presumably off the cards for Archie. Maybe Winchester or Harrow. Would be hilarious if they sent A&L to Marlborough following in Catherines' footsteps. No Sussex kid will be at the same school as a Wales prince pr princess. That's not going to happen.

Radley was rumoured to be where Harry was supposed to go until KC changed his mind after Diana died

Closer to both the Cotswolds and Northamptonshire. And quieter than Heathrow. They wouldn’t have been able to use Northolt wouldn’t have thought. Tends to be used by the actual royals and members of the government

So 'believed to have' but with some fairly specific details.

Do you remember last year that Charles paid £3m for the property next to Camilla’s Ray Mill House to protect her privacy and security? The previous owner had turned an outbuilding into an Airbnb and there were rumours the whole property could become a wedding venue.

This article says “With the properties being just 30ft from one another, a ‘security-vetted tenant' will move in next door, helping to protect the Queen’s sanctuary. A royal source told the Mail on Sunday: ‘The new arrangement is a pragmatic solution, being both a sound financial investment and a way of maintaining Her Majesty's privacy, protection and continued enjoyment of her much-loved home,”

I wonder if they ever found a tenant or if it is available for HAM to use it short to medium term? Obviously the location so close to Camilla’s safe haven isn’t ideal but ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’ and all that!

The Daily Mail has it's issues, but it reports on topics that out state broadcaster refuses to.

It has also fought for press freedom - and I believe in press freedom, and that means also printing stuff I don't agree with.

Interesting, the company is owned by two named individuals and an unnamed European family. Looks like they may have received another handout from a wealthy stranger.

Kudos to Sky News for so far ignoring their arrival completely.
